Lucy's POV:

The next morning, we got up and jumped in the shower before going down to the hotel canteen to grab some breakfast. I'm still buzzing from last night to be honest! I don't want to go into to much detail, but we went the whole way and had sex for the first time. I couldn't believe how soft and gentle Chris was with me, he was patient and his actions were filled with love, not lust.

He reminded me the true meaning of making love to each other, instead of being forced and abused by Carl over the last few years. He made me feel good about myself and it was nice to finally be loved and wanted by someone. I was brought back to reality when I heard the clatter of dishes in the background, and it turned my attention back to eating my corn flakes.

I felt Chris' eyes upon me and I lifted my head to meet his gaze. He was sitting across to me, chewing a piece of toast hungrily, grinning widely when he finally got my attention. Breadcrumbs were scattered all over his face and down the front of his sweater. I couldn't contain my laughter. I swear, he looked like a toddler attempting (and failing 😂) to feed himself!

"What?" He rose his eyebrows questioningly. I leaned forward towards him and wiped his face with my hand before brushing the crumbs off his top. "Oh... thanks" he giggled, before tucking into another slice. Awww he's so cute...

"You're making such a mess of yourself" I chuckled, spooning another mouthful into my mouth. "Even Jonah and Rex eat neater than you!" I added- referring to Jonny and Will's kids, laughing when he looked up from his food, his eyebrows raised - looking rather offended.

"Well I'm starving aren't I! A man's gotta eat" he remarked, rolling his eyes jokingly.

"You're always hungry, like a bottomless pit" I told him, taking a sip of tea from my mug, eying him up playfully. The guy had a fast metabolism and always ate something every few hours. His fitness regime made him like that apparently, always burning energy.

"So? At least I eat the right stuff... most of the time..."'he said, gesturing to the Nutella spread on his toast. "And I work it off when I go for a run so ha!" He added, making me laugh. I turned my head to the right and noticed a young, blonde waitress making her way over to us.

"Hey Guys, Would you like to order anything else?" She asked politely, gazing at our half finished breakfast. Chris met my gaze and I shook my head slightly. I was already full.

"No thank you..." He politely declined, handing her a £10 note to pay for our food. She nodded before taking the money to the till and came back with his change.

"Here's £4.42 change, sir. Thank you for dining with us and have a good day!" She exclaimed, placing the coins into Chris' outstretched hand. He gave her a smile and nodded, smirking at me once she had turned around, making her way back to the kitchen.

"You see? I guess I can go out without getting recognised" he remarked smugly, gulping the last drop of his coffee. I had now finished my tea and just had a few mouthfuls of to go before I was finished.

"Yeah! Even If she did recognise you, she sure didn't show it" I agreed, smiling at him. He was dressed in his usual sweater and jeans with high tops, but wasn't wearing a hat or scarf as we were inside.

Gazing at him now, I realised it wouldn't be hard for the ordinary fan to recognise him- explaining the reason why he was happy at the fact we were dining in a restaurant in is hometown. It was nice to have a sense of normality in a way.
