Lucy's POV:

I stared down at my phone with shaking hands- in shock, immediately beginning to feel a bought of nausea shoot up from my stomach and tears shoot to my eyes. I blinked them away before  reading the text again- confirming my horror of what it consisted. Carl was free. And he'll be waiting for us in London. What's he going to do? Obviously kidnap/ hurt me but then what? What if he hurts the guys? Or worse???

I was broken from my thoughts when I felt a presence behind me and a gentle hand on my shoulder, squeezing it lightly. I looked up and met Chris' soft gaze, features shadowed slightly in the dimmed light. A small grin played on his lips but it faltered when he saw the look on my face.

"You ok babe? The car's here" he stated, cocking his head to the side slightly. I looked towards the black SUV parked a few feet away from us. The others had already piled into it, bags and all. I looked back up at him, My vision now blurry as my eyes brimmed with unshed tears.

"Hey... what's wrong?" He asked, eyebrows furrowing in worry as he reached out to brush away a lonesome tear that slowly slid down my cheek. That's when I found out that I couldn't hide my emotions any longer and shook my head in despair, choking on a sob.

He instantly stepped forward and enveloped me into his arms, making my face press up against his warm, firm chest. I could feel his head resting against mine and I wrapped my arms around him tightly, returning the embrace. We stood in silence for a while, him just rocking us back and fourth softly . I need to tell him what's happened.

I loosened my hold on him before sliding my hands down to his hips and pulled away slightly, just enough to meet his worried but also confused gaze. I swallowed the lump in my throat, swiping away at my tear stained cheeks. "Carl's been let out of prison and he's somehow traced my phone number. He knows we're heading back to London tonight and he'll be waiting for us. Well, me. He's waiting for me... if not tonight, it'll be soon." I told him, watching colour drain from his face and I felt his grip tighten around me. I could see those sapphire orbs glistening in the moonlight and for the first time, I saw fear in them.

"W-wait??? What?? What do you mean he'll be waiting for us? He's not supposed to be out for ages!" He questioned, pulling back but still keeping a hand on my shoulder as he ran a hand through his hair nervously.

"He must've got out earlier on good behaviour or someone's bust him out? ... maybe he's hacked into something to find my number? I don't know. Here, this is what he said" I rambled, unlocking my phone and got the message up before handing it to him. I watched as he focused on the threatening message before he returned his gaze to mine, reaching out and took my hand in his, his grip tighten on it .

"We need to let everyone on the team know about this, we need to make sure everyone stay safe" he said in a low voice, before starting to lead me towards the car, sliding the door open and sticking his head in.

"Boys, we have to go back inside for a minute. Somethings happened" he announced, gazing around the vehicle and saw the worry and concern in his bandmates' eyes.

"Sure... What is it mate? Are you guys okay?" I heard Will ask, as he unbuckled his seatbelt and grabbed his rucksack, Jon and Guy doing the same.

"No, not really. We'll explain everything later, just grab your stuff and come with us back to the dressing room. We need to tell everyone on the team as it involves Carl potentially hurting or abducting Lucy " he told him, reaching in and grabbing our carry ons, slinging both bags over his shoulders. He adjusted his grip on my hand before we turned around and begun to walk back towards the building.
