This video above is the alternative live take for Always In My Head from Ghost Stories Live 2014. The bit right at the start always makes me emotional because of the way Chris glances back at Jon and Jonny places his hand on his back, like he's reassuring him that everything's going to be okay. Chris immediately throws his arm around his shoulders, pulling him closer to him as they walk to the stage. It's just a really cute moment and it shows the bond they have 😭❤️ I LOVE THEM SO MUCH 😭 I hope you'll enjoy this chapter! Xx

23rd of June, 2014 - Paris, France.
(Yes I know the Paris date was on 25/5/14 but it fits the story so shhhhhhh 😂)Lucy's POV:
I was sat chilling on a sofa in the Casino De Paris dressing room with the band, watching the TV that was fixed on the opposite wall. Even though the program was in French and I couldn't understand it, it was better than nothing.
The guys had already been to soundcheck and we had our dinner earlier than usual. So we have a few hours to relax for a bit before the show. I slowly turned my head to my right to gaze at Chris- who was sat beside me, and noticed that he was beginning to nod off. His head was bowed slightly, chin nearly resting on his chest. His eyes were getting heavier by the second. I mentally awed at the sight.
The time difference between Sydney and Paris was tough and it was really taking a toll on the guys. All the travelling didn't help either and I could tell that they were tired. It would've been the middle of the night over there but now they would be performing to their fans in a few hours time.
I looked up and across the room to see that Guy was out cold in his arm chair, sleeping peacefully. The book he had been reading lay on his chest , moving slightly with the rise and fall of his chest. Will had left the room a while ago to shower and Jon was flat out on the other sofa, also fast asleep.
My attention turned back to Chris as he seemed to stir slightly before shuffling his way closer to me and pivoted on the sofa until he was laid flat on his back, placing his head in my lap to use as a cushion. I chuckled at him, he is so cute.
"Are you sure you're comfortable down there?" I teased, leaning down and capturing his lips with mine gently.
"Very..." he whispered with soft smile, gazing up at me through half closed eyes. I knew he was quickly losing the battle to stay awake and I started to stroke my fingers down the side of his face. He sighed contentedly, closing his eyes.
"That's it, go to sleep love... It'll do you the world of good." I told him quietly, trailing my hand up and ran it through his hair. He reached up and grabbed my free one before guiding it to rest on his chest, intertwining our fingers together. "I'll wake you up later on" I added, squeezing his hand slightly.
"Okay.... I love you" he mumbled sleepily, drawing out a yawn.
"I love you too" I replied, kissing his forehead tenderly. I directed my attention back the the tv, continuing to stroke my fingers down the side of his face lightly, tracing his features absentmindedly.
After a while he shifted into a more comfortable position- rolling over to face me, curling up onto his side. About 10 minutes later I noticed his grip had become looser. I looked down and smiled when I saw that he was fast asleep, his chest rising and falling softly with each breath. His features relaxed and he looked so peaceful.
