Luke's POV

The day of the first acoustic show in London.

'Every night replayed over and over...' I sang into the microphone. We were alsmost done with our sound check and everyone was so stoked for tonight's show. I looked at the empty music hall. In a couple of hours it will be completely filled with screaming fans, I thought smiling. Even though I was beyond excited, I still felt a bit nervous. Usually I didn't feel nervous at all before a show, so I couldn't really figure out why I felt that way now. Healthy tension I think. When we finished the sound check I put my guitar down in its standard and sighed. 'I'm gonna get something to drink, be right back.' I said while I rushed backstage. My hand immediately slid into my pocket searching my phone. It must be morning in Sydney, would she be awake already? I quickly moved my fingers across the screen and typed in a new text message.

"Good Morning! Did you sleep well? X."

After I sent the text I ren straight into the dressing room. In the corner of the room was a small refrigerator filled with bottles of water and energy drink. I opened a bottle and let the cold water slide into my throat. The show is going to be amazing tonight! Everyone is so excited. It's so cool to be able to travel all the way to London and play our songs for all these new people. While I was deep in thoughts my phone vibrated in my pocket. Grinning like a fool, I put the bottle down and read Aria's text.

"Slept like a baby! :) How's it going with you? Do you have any band update for me? ;)"

For some reason I couldn't stop smiling while texting her back.

"Did you dream about me? Hahaha we just finished the sound check so I thought I'd take a break, get some water and wish you a good morning :)"

Aria:        "Yes, I definitely dreamed about you last night haha lol. Don't let the boys wait too long, huh? :P  Have FUUUUUN and good luck tonight!"

Luke:        "Thanksss :D It's just too bad that you're not in the crowd tonight :-("

Aria:        "Yea... I might not stand in the crowd but I'm sure that someone will record the whole show and put it on YouTube, right? So basically I am in the crowd... technically..."

Luke:        "That's pretty sweet, I'll think of you ;) But I have to get back to the boys before they come and get me themselves. Xxx"

Aria:         "Good luck! Have fun and wish Ash, Cal and Mikey also a good luck for me!"

Luke:        "I will! Xx "

Reluctantly, I put my phone back into my pocket. I really liked Aria and mine text conversations, even if they were short. She'll be watching tonight, I smiled in thoughts. Somehow it made me feel relaxed but also nervous. Is that even possible? Being relaxed and a bit nervous at the same time? Well, apparently it is. A new wave of excitement came over me. Tonight we're gonna rock like never before! I grabbed my bottle of water and ran back on stage. 'What took you so long?' Calum asked slightly annoyed. The smile on my face betrayed me. Calum's annoyance disappeared and made place for a big grin. 'Ah, I see. Ms. Greenwood hah?' He said teasingly. I laughed. 'Or should we already call her, Mrs. Hemmings?' Calum continued to tease. Laughing, I gave him a playful push. 'Sometimes you're really annoying, you know that?' I said, shaking my head. I walked over to my guitar. Before taking it out of its standard I turned around to face my band mates. 'Oh by the way, I had to wish you good luck from Aria.' I said. 'Ahwww.' Ashton said smothered from behind his drum kit. He opened his mouth again to say something but Iinterrupted him. 'She's gonna watch tonight's show via YouTube, so I really want to do something secial for her.' I could feel my cheeks redden while looking awkwardly at the boys. A big smile appeared on Ashton's face when he got up and walked over to where I was standing. Michael and Calum did the same so we stood in a circle, like football players do before a game. 'What's the plan, captain?' Ashton asked in his "serious" voice.

That night, halfway through the show.

'Okay London! So this next song I'm going to dedicate to someone very special to me.' I began. A muffled sound of "awhh's" echoëd through the music hall. 'There is this girl, who I really miss... and I just want her to know that.' I paused. All the fans in the crowd looked at him expectantly. 'This one's for you, Aria. Without you I'm a lost boy.' I finished my little speech and started to play the into of the song.

I remember the last time I saw your face

I feel so lonely without the crowded space

You left with me without direction

It felt so good to be here. On stage. And the thought of Aria watching this performance made it even better.

I've gone from place to place

Trying to bring you back

I've walked for days and days

Cause I can't face the fact

That nothing is better than you

I'm coming because I need to find you

Is anybody there to the rescue

Somebody like me

Cause I'm just waiting

For somebody like you

Somebody like you

Cause without you I'm a lost boy

Without you I'm a lost boy

Come find me I'm a lost boy

Cause without you I'm a lost boy

Everyone, the band and the crowd, enjoyed every moment of the show. It was definitely a show to remember. Making music with my best mates and travelling across the world. This was a huge deal, to all of us. Nothing in this moment could ruin my joy.

'Without you I'm a lost boy' I sang the last lyric. With both my thumbs up, I turned around towards the boys. This was amazing.
