Luke's POV

We all grew really close to the 1D boys. Over the last week we hung out all the time and did crazy stuff. But eventhough I'm living my dream, I feel incomplete. I am thankful that Harry made me join his experiment called "How to piss off security", because I got distracted from the girl who's constantly on my mind. After my mum told us to get off of eachother and act a little more professional I had checked my phone again. But not a single text from Aria. I even called Olivia, who didn't answer her phone as well. What is going on?! I started to make up theories of why none of them - Aria in particularly - picked up their phones or called me back. Maybe Aria was heartbroken and crying her eyes out while Olivia tried to calm her down? Maybe she had an accident? Maybe she's ridiculously mad at me? Maybe... I felt chills running down my spine. Just don't let it be one of those things, I wished. 'Yooooo! Luuuuuuke! Hellooo! Are you still here?' Broke Niall through my zoned off mind. He was standing right in front of me while waving his hands to get my out of my trance. 'Ehh, what?' I ask distractedly. 'Go get ready, you're on stage in a minute!' He laughs. 'You're not going to tell me you're planning on missing the grand opening, are you?' I smile nervously and get up from the couch.

'Oh god! Look at all those people!' Whispers Calum excitedly in my ear while pointing at the overcrowded arena. We are standing right behind the curtains so the audience is not able to see us. 'Succes emo's.' Someone laughs while giving my a pat on the shoulder. I turn my head to see Harry grinning at me. 'I've gotta go, see ya after the show!' He says and then walks away. '5 Seconds of Summer, you're on.' A woman from the crew standing near us says. Slowly we walk on to the stage. Meanwhile I hear the intro video playing on the big screens beside each side of the stage. The audience's attention is focused on those screens which is why no one really notices us standing in the dark on stage. The dark seems to swollow me up, I can't see a thing. Suddenly I hear Ashton count to four in his mic following a loud bang on the drums. The spotlights flash on and automatically we start to play. On my right side I see Michael who strikes the notes on his guitar like a pro. He's doing a fantastic job. And on my left Calum steals the show on his bass.

I remember the last time I saw your face

I feel so lonely without the crowded space

You left with me without direction

I watch the crowd while Calum sings his part.

I've gone from place to place

Trying to bring you back

I've walked for days and days

Cause I can't face the fact

That nothing is better than you

The memories of our first acoustic show flash back into my head. Not only those memories, but also my memories of Aria, even though she hadn't been at our first acoustic show. I'd give a lot to have her here right now. But is doesn't matter, she's in Australia. Trying to focus and clear my head. I've got to embrace the moment I'm in right now.

I'm coming because I need to find you

Is anybody there to the rescue

Somebody like me

Cause I'm just waiting

For somebody like you

Somebody like you

Cause without you I'm a lost boy

Without you I'm a lost boy

Come find me I'm a lost boy

Cause without you I'm a lost boy

Finally I loosen up and enjoy everything around me. Calum walks towards me and we put our backs against each other's. The crowd roars during our moment playing together. Time flies while we go through the songs. Heartbreak Girl, Green Light, Over and Over, our cover of Teenage Dream. Before we know it we've reached the song before our final one. 'The next song is called Beside You. Ehhmm... We've written this song not so long ago actually. It's inspired by a really special girl. If you've watched our first acoustic show here in London you probably know who I'm talking about.' I say cautiously. 'Ehhmm... her name's Aria. Right now she's miles away from here and I miss her every minute of the day... So yea... this song's for her.' My electric guitar has been replaced by an acoustic one. A braised 'Ahwww' when I finish. It's funny how cute these fans reacted, I think to myself. Once I've checked my guitar and taken my place before the microphone I see that the entire arena is lit by tiny balls of light. For a moment I stare at the view in awe. This is truly amazing. 'This song is kinda slower so hug the person standing next to you and wave those hands if you like.' Michael's voice echoes through the arena. Ashton starts drumming the rhythm and all the lightballs answer in motion. They go with the rhythm, bouncing back and forth. Then Michael, Calum and I join in.

Within a minute I was all packed up

I've got a ticket to another world

I don't wanna go

I don't wanna go

Sudden words are hard to speak

When your thoughts are all I see

"Don't ever leave," she said to me

Now it's my turn to sing. Butterflies flutter in my stomach as I start the first line.

When we both fall asleep underneath the same sky.

To the beat of our hearts at the same time.

So close but so far away.

She sleeps alone.

My heart wants to come home.

I wish I was, I wish I was beside you.

She lies awake.

I'm trying to find the words to say.

I wish I was, I wish I was beside you.

After another verse and course Michael's solo arrives. He's totally killing it! The audience goes nuts, tousands of girls screaming his name. I watch my friend's concentrated face. Suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder. When I turn around I look straight into Calum's grinning face. It shows more than just enjoyment, but I can't put a finger on it. 'Look at the aisle between section B1 and B2.' He says pointing. Confused I the direction he's pointing in. Nothing strange... all fans are perfectly in their section. What's he trying to tell me? Why is he pointing at... nothing? Once I narrow my eyes to take a better look, I see what my friend is trying to show me. A girl, with familiar-looking brown curls and a white 5SOS shirt is standing between section B1 and B2. I can't believe my eyes. It's real, she's here. 'Aria?!' I whisper surprised. My voice echoes through the arena as I had forgotten I am standing infront of a microphone.
