WORLD OF GAMES

Game start!

It's a popular belief that this world we exist in isn't the only one. That our world exist in parallel with others. I use to believe it was purely fiction until one day, I met Rea. Rea is my guide in the in this crazy, unusual world. Life in this world is determined by your ability and luck to win whatever contest comes your way. This is a lot to take in so let me start off from the beginning,My name is Rei Ryugamine and this is My adventure in a World Of Games.

My morning started off as they usually do, me waking up late and rushing to make it to school. Though I don't live far but something always manage to make me late. Last week, I had to take a detour to avoid becoming dog food. Tuesday, it was a bird attack and I still have a scratch. Thursday, I made it to school then got caught in some prank by accident and had to go home and change. I just want to finish out my week and go play videogames all weekend.

Today, I manage to get to school without incident and a little early. I was relieved as I took my seat.

"You look awfully relaxed for someone who runs into trouble every other day. Guess your luck is on the upswing. Who knows you might get an A later."

"Nagisa good morning, did you get it?"Nagisa is my best friend since grade school and we always hang out together. He has long blue hair and doll like eyes with not that tough looking of a body. Guys would probably would call him girly if he wasn't the strongest guy in the school and the last guy that did had a permanent reminder not to.

"Yep! King of games, the brand new RPG where you exist in a world bound by games. I got the last two copies." Nagisa smiled as he showed the two copies from his backpack.

"My luck may swing up but yours is always on high. The only thing you never beat was my high score." He may have more luck but he could never best my skill.

"Don't worry that's about to change today!"

The teacher walked in after he said that and class began. All in all it was a good day, and just like Nagisa said I even got an A in chemistry.When school was out me and Nagisa walked to his house. It was a bit farther away than my house but his flat screen was bigger so it made local play easier.

"Hey Rei let's take this shortcut."

I followed Nagisa down the dark alley and nearing the end we saw a golden light in the sky. Though we saw it light up the sky, there wasn't any comotion on the streets. The light dropped down two letters slowly that we each caught.

"Welcome player! "it was like the message was playing in my mind. An image of a fox girl also showed up wearing a magical girl costume. She had red hair, blue eyes and white tip ears.

"If you seek money,power,fame seek no further. If you want to be swarmed by beautiful women you'll find no shortage. But if your a pitiful man with pitiful luck seek refuge elsewhere, unless you're ready to take a chance." That last sentence struck me to the heart. A world where I can lose my horrible luck,sounds like a dream. I thought I Rei Ryugamine accepts.

"If you're ready, follow me into the World of Games!" I looked up in time to see my friend had the same awestruck reaction as me. Then the light trickled down on us and we disappeared into a path of light. I shared one last look with Nagisa and then we separated.

"What!" I screamed in shock of my only friend disappearing.

"Sorry, but two people can't start at the same location." The fox girl said magically appearing from golden light before me." Don't worry, just like you he got a guide. You both will probably meet later on." she said messing with my black hair as if I was a kid. Though she looks as if she is younger than me.

"Hello kid, I'm your darling guide and idol Rea! Here to get you on your way in this crazy world of games!" She made the most over the top poses as she said this which made it so funny to me.
