 "How could you guys just leave like that!" Rea stared them down as Mayumi glared from behind her.

"W-We honestly didn't expect a living human being coming  anywhere near here with all those recent deaths. And And don't animals  normally stay away from areas of stronger monsters s-so nothing would harm you guys.

"Well there were humans and they did try to harm us!"

"Why are you so mad." Nagisa interrupted " Mayumi said that you're strong enough to beat three  Scar wolves at once with your bear hands." He mockingly swung and hissed like a feline as Rea turned to Mayumi with her face red as fire.

"Why would you tell him something like that?!" The rabbit crouched down facing the other way to avoid eye contact with the indsidious glare.

"H-He buys really expensive and tasty carrots an-and only gives me one if I answer a question. He asked if you were strong and I told him."Nagisa walked over and pulled a carrot out of the bag she was carrying.

"Here you go, thanks for holding this." He gives her the carrot then takes the satchel and put it on his shoulder." Ultimately, the point is that you two weren't in any real danger." 

Rea took the carrot before she could bite and said, " She forgot a detail. We aren't allowed to do any thing but buff and heal until your Gamblers. This rule applies as long as you're out with us no matter if we are a foot apart or a mile!" Mayumi was jumping and reaching but wasn't fast enough to get it back, so I took it back using [fatal instinct].

"'Take good luck were you can get it, because things don't always go your way.' My dad told me that the day when I  got hit in the head by a ball before I almost walked in the street. He was saying that things didn't look good at first but a happy(painful) little accident is okay as long as you are still here to enjoy life." Nagisa looked worriedly at me since this is the first time I mentioned him in years.

"O-Okay fine, seeing how he's giving us a magic inventory bag and a dagger we should just be grateful. Sorry for arguing and thank you." She took the inventory bag that was on the ground and jump directly off the nest. There was shock on both me and Nagisa faces while Mayumi was nonchalantly enjoying her carrot as if it were the best thing in the world. " Are you coming Rei!" She called out to me from her 5 story drop.

"Y-Yeah hold up!" I thought yesterday was too much but this takes the cake. " I'll see ya later Nagisa until then whish me luck! " I looked at him with a smile and jumped down but onto a nearby branch. I waved climbing down as he looked down and laughed about how I got him.

 "Hope that stuff helps you out because the examination is in one month and you need to be at least level 25 and the tests are random. See ya when we're Pro Gamblers!" He sprouted golden wings and lifted up Mayumi and  lowered down just to grab the wolves and were off very similarly to That girl and her wings.

"I think I need a flying ability." I said as we were making our way back to the village.

"You've gotten plenty of things out of today: You defeated the Sapphire Hawk, got to meet and quest with your friend, and you probably leveled up a bit but I doubt you'll get another one before level 20."

Well that's a bit of a bummer but that makes it more exciting!"She was a little surprised to see me so cheerful. I guess he kinda rubbed off on me, Nagisa may be lucky and extreme but I guess a little wise.  This place can be a happy luck filled paradise if I just think of it that way.

"Yeah besides your mana should be nearly used up. Let's take a break and come back before nightfall." She is right I can feel the effort I've been putting in all day catching up to me. I guess trying to get all the money in one fowl swoop was a bad idea but I think I leveled up quite a few times.
