Adventure that await

After having to stop for Sylva to give her explanation to the guards and we were rewarded though I had to forgo half to keep the daggers but it was worth it. They left me in the city with Hayate as I had to wait for my improved old armor and my new set I ordered. by the time it was noon the courier arrived and surprisingly it was Micheal.

" Good Afternoon Mr.Ryugamine, I have a delivery for you." He reaches into his bag and hands me the equipment. I head into a bathroom and re-equip the sets.

" I have to admit Klyde undersold the hell out of this stuff." I say looking over how he reinforced it using the destroyed armor. The effects aren't as high but the chestplate is well replaced. My secret set has most of the better set mixed into it and I can't wait to practice it at night.

" I also came to ask for a favor. I'm currently heading to Rite along the same path as you guys so I wanted you to help me complete a subjugation there."

Can it be done in a few hours?"

Yes, I know you guys are in a rush but I figured a little help would make this fast. I should be able to keep up on Crimson so no need to worry about speed." He said as we got to the gate and I hopped on Hayate's saddle.

" You do realize this is a wind element wolf. I might as well be on a wind element horse with his speed. Let's Go!" Hayate took this as a chance to show off and went full speed. After a moment he slowed down finally realizing we left him behind.

" I mean you could at least let me summon the horse first. " Hayate kept Pace with him as we rode.

" He's my familiar but he sometimes feels the need to show me how good of a familiar he is."

" Ah it's a small amount of doubt then. He probably afraid he would be abandoned and wants to serve you at his best to ensure that it doesn't."

" I mean Master is a good Master but I don't want to be in cage again. What if he gets that "fined" thing again?"

" Did you get into trouble with him before?"

" You know how the forest jumped from F rank to D rank because of a natural unbalance. We killed the king of the forest Hayate was then turned into the king of the forest. But I refused to return him to nature and was fined."

" I would take the damn fine too! A king of the forest, what kinda abilities does he have from it."

" Basically he gets a 10 point boost on all stats while in a forest, levels faster in a forest and can suppress weaker monsters in his forest of origin. Which wasn't the forest in town. The benefits are good but only while he's in a forest though it's a reasonable drawback."

" Don't you get them or can't you fuse with him."

" No they are his privilege as the king of the forest why."

" So you also misunderstand. His powers are very much your power. Anything that's not racial can be tapped even if it's only to a small degree you should become stronger in forests with a related title."

" Wait I can use anything except a racial skill! So I can use [Thundershock] and [Flamethrower]. Hayate is basically another skill tray for me as I am to him." I felt a quick pulse in my mind almost like a sharp headache that disappeared instantly.

" Master are you okay?!" Hayate ask. 'My head stung for a bit.'

" My head did too but I'm fine."

"What did your head do too Master?"

" It stung like you said." 'whats going on?'

" Master I know not but I'd like to know as well."
