A King's worth of strength

" Alright here you go, Now you can continue to shine under the ever dazzling light of your Darling Idol and Guide REA!" Nagisa sighed as he couldn't complain after she just healed his arm. Although the remaining damage wasn't extremely painful it still hindered his movement.

" You can have your 15 minutes of fame I'm getting something thicker and heavier than this steel armor and I'll throw the next monster king around their cave." He said laying in his bed in our large 4 bedroom suite. The rooms we got as a reward was a one-bedroom suite and a four-bedroom suite that we decided the order of who sleeps where based on a Rock, Paper, Scissors match." Seriously the collection of the ears and monsters was still hard."

" I had to learn the timing of the goblin kings healing to keep his limbs nearly severed and collect ears. That was also made harder by everyone saying use my clones so cutting became a lot harder." I point out as I sit up." I'm just glad we got paid that much on a favor."

" Luckily he's a good guy, most people wouldn't even split 10/90 on a favor but you guys but he gave you guys a fair cut." She said as she leaned on the doorway.

" Oh, you regret missing out? We can go looking for a larger cave next time as a group." Nagisa said.

" Yeah right, Mafyuu almost threw up thinking about it. I surprised you guys were okay with it."

" I'm not sure maybe your strength can affect your constitution since poison doesn't always overwhelm me, but then how did Rei do it?"

" Goblin slaying practice included dealing with horrid smells. Ms.Violet taught me a lot."

" I have to admit doing it after practice says a lot, a cave full of them sounds worst than the sewers."Sylvia mentioned." I rather fight a pack of Hayate than a cave full of goblins."

" Nah, Moltres is one thing but Hayate's power is ridiculous when you realize he has armor and can make his own pack. A pack of him is like a battalion including their clones. They could defeat a dragon."Nagisa was joking but I'm sure they could at least beat an earth dragon.

" Yeah but then they'll basically flatten me. One Hayate is enough, if I could even get another familiar it wouldn't be another wolf." I'm pretty sure my revolution skill will probably allow me to turn second-class creatures into monsters like Hayate. That being the case I think at best I could only get weaker wolves because that would interfere with Hayate's if it works.

" How about a goblin, that shaman one could come in handy?"

" Nah, it's too weak. With how we are its impact on the team would be little to none."

" Then the champion, it could work as a guard and the power gap is smaller?"  Stated Sylvia apparently becoming more interested in the topic now.

" Guard who? We have Hayate and Nagisa that can act as vanguard's and Rea can act as her own rearguard with Mafuyuu control as back up. We honestly don't need one much but if we did get one it has to be capable of fighting back not just holding us off."

" Then that leaves the king, it's strength was enough to compete against us. He could definitely attack and defend."

" That will cost an arm and a leg not to mention there is no guarantee it will work."

" The thing is though I heard someone mention it may not be the only goblin king so your ability might work," Rea whispered to me and we couldn't help but grin to each other.

" All right! Let's check as early as possible!" Nagisa and Sylvia are confused about why I changed my mind but I said they'll see tomorrow.

When we got there the next morning Rea arranged for me to attempt for half-price so long as the king isn't critically hurt or stolen I can get a refund. If something of the sort happens I'll be charged or an A-rank bounty request will be put on me and the team. That aside they have a spatial mage although not as powerful as our own guildmaster but he could make a handful of rooms with smaller fields. The goblin king is brought out and Rea opens the cadge. I told Nagisa and Sylvia that I have to fight alone for it to work so they look on nervous and Mafuyuu didn't want to be around goblins.
