Hey guys! It's been too too too too too long.
I am so SO so SO sorry about this hiatus. I didn't write for about three months and I am so sorry. I got caught up with school, ending school, and then it was band (whoever else can relate, leave a comment my fellow band geeks (; ). I can't promise that it won't happen again, since I'll be a junior in high school in the fall. I'll be taking three AP classes and it'll be hectic with my schedule.
But for right now, I want to talk about how lovely each and everyone of you guys are.
Since I started this book, I think I've become a better writer. I've become more aware of how to write scenes, people, objects, you name it. I'm constantly thinking "Okay, one day I'll finish this and I'll rewrite it. I'll make it better." And I can't say thank you enough for those who've stuck it out from the very beginning! THANK YOU. A gigantic, bubbly, warm THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I mean, really. This book has reached 48k (OH MY GOD) and it couldn't have been done without you guys.
I'm so thankful for all your comments and likes for this story. I love writing. I love it to the point where I question why I ever stop doing it. It just feels right. There are 26 letters in the alphabet, and that's somehow enough to make an endless number of words, which in turn make an endless number of stories. It boggles my mind every time.
But whenever I read your comments, my heart soars. I love all the critics and nice things you've said about this story. I appreciate it so much. When I read your comments, no matter what mood I'm in, it reminds me of why I love doing what I do. Because there are people who enjoy it as much as I do.
It's people like you guys that make a writer like me want to continue writing.
And I can't express how grateful I am for that feeling your comments give me. It's such a wonderful feeling. Ah.
Having said that, I look forward to the summer! Because it means more time to write and more time to talk to you guys! I promise I'm going to start being more active, but I mean that as a means of responding to your comments.
