When I return back home two well-trodden paths will appear before me once again
The right path is warm and scenic; wild flowers of Muse sprout endlessly with airs of Grace and Serenity
The left path is hazy and filled with a suspenseful air; exotic blooms garnishing the dark boughs and beautic weaving path
Which should I take?The right is clear; it is the one I should take.
The seeming lack of adventure will spurn me to Act and Do and See;
I would be moved and motivated and living out With others, For others, and By others.
It is the Path of Life and the Path of Immortality.The left path is tempting; it is the one I should run from.
The seeming rave of thrill and life will visibly distance me from Peace of Mind and Reconciliation with searched Truth
I would be happy living in the world I had always desired and I would be so relieved of not having to hide my scars and darkest secrets
But is it worth it to have that lingering Regret, or Doubt, until my death-
And Beyond?When I return back home two well-trodden paths will appear before me once again
The right path is warm and scenic; wild flowers of Muse sprout endlessly with airs of Grace and Serenity
The left path is hazy and filled with a suspenseful air; exotic blooms garnishing the dark boughs and beautic weaving path
Which should I take?A/N: Inspired by- Pastor Jordan Cornell's sermon at SPF- Central, Eldoret; " 'The Samaritan Woman' (John 4) and 'The Good Samaritan' " (Luke 10: 25-37).
