You were nervous. Excited? Nope. Mostly nervous. Everything that could happen on this blind date could make or break your love life. You told your friend Kelly to set you up with a blind date. Well more like she forced you. You had no idea what this man looks like or how his personality is except his name is "Troy". The date started in two hours and you made sure everything was ready. Hair? Exceptional. Outfit? Extravagant. Face? Alright. You went over "the plan" a thousand times in your head. Go to the restaurant, show up about 7 minutes late to make a grand entrance. Say "sorry I'm late" to Troy. Pray that Troy is there before you. Don't play with phone to much focus on him. Don't play with your food. Eat it even if it's disgusting. Make sure posture is perfect. No elbows on the table. And. No. Corny. Jokes. Alright, it seems like your ready.
~2 hours later~ -1 person-
As I got to the restaurant my hands started sweating. I carefully rubbed them and started to walk inside. The clock said 8:07 pm. Perfect. I were following the plan. Once I walked in I quickly scammed the room looking for Troy. Or someone sitting alone. After about 30 seconds of looking I found no one sitting by themselves so I assumed he was doing the same type of plan. After all, no one wants to be first. I decided to take a seat and wait for Troy. He never showed. After about 30 minutes of waiting and stressfully scrolling through Instagram and aggressively texting Kelly I decided to leave. Once I started collecting my things a blond haired guy sat down with me. I guess this is Troy.
"Oh are you Troy?" I said scanning him.
"No no I'm Austin. I saw you sitting by yourself. Thought you could use some company." As he said that a waiter walked by.
"Hey guys. Could I get you two something to drink?"
"Oh no I'm-" I began to say before Austin cut me off.
"Two waters please." He said. Smiling.
"You didn't have to do that. Really, I'm fine."
"You don't seem so fine with mascara running down your cheek" He said taking a napkin and wiping my tears.
"Oh. Thank you." I said. Blushing.
"Anytime. Hey, were you stood up?" He said before adding. "It's fine if you don't wanna talk about it."
"Oh yeah it's fine. There was this boy, Troy. My friend sent me on a blind date with him only he never showed."
"That sucks." Austin said, "who would want to stand up a pretty lady like you?" I laughed at that.
"No I'm serious." Austin said.
"Oh thank you. Are you here by yourself or with your girlfriend." I said. Worriedly.
"By myself. And Incase you were wondering my girlfriend dumped my about a week ago." Austin said
"Oh." I said as the waters came.
"How about I buy you a meal?" Austin said. "This could be our date and later I'll take you to my house to meet my friends. I'd think they'd really like you." He said looking at me.
"Oh. Well I don't know...."
"Please. I know we just met but I feel like it's been destiny for us to find ourselves here. With you."
When he spoke like that I couldn't say no.
He put his hand on mine and I looked into his dark brown eyes and I said.
"Sure"Authors note: omg this was really short sorry guys and for any mistakes too
