You were at the boys house. You just broke up with Austin but you guys were still really good friends. You just decided being in a relationship was worse than being friends and it was too awkward so you just ended it. But anyways, you were chilling at the boys house one day and zion and Edwin went shopping, Brandon was attempting to cook dinner, and Austin was in his room playing video games so it was you and nick in the living room. You were scrolling through Instagram and nick was what seemed to be texting someone. You looked up at him to lock eyes. He instantly put his eyes down and starting rapidly texting someone. You pulled up your messages to joke with nick about his sudden nervousness

He saw your text then got up and said "I need to go to the bathroom" and he dashed out of the room
The kitchen was connected somewhat to the living room so as nick dashed past you through the kitchen passed Brandon you locked eyes with Brandon
"What was that about?" You asked as Austin come down the stairs
"What's what about" Austin said taking a banana from the counter and coming to sit on the couch with you
"Nick, he just rushed out of here after I sent him this text" You said as you showed Austin your phone
"Ohhhh." He said feeling a little uncomfortable
"Oh what? You better tell me!"You said punching Austin in the arm.
"Ok. Ok. I shouldn't be telling you this so you better not tell nick!!"
"Okayyyyy what is it!"
"Here!" He said reaching his phone out to me. I was about to grab it but he stopped his motion "but only because were best friends! And you better not tell nick!"
"Ok ok gemme!" I said as I grabbed the phone from Austin to read his text messages

"Oh my god" Austin said putting his phone away. "Your so slow." He said nudging me "nick likes you b. Like a lot. And he gets sooooo stressed around you it's like how I used to when we were dating but his is worse. He literally gets a panic attack every time he's around you and I think being alone with you made him snap. I shouldn't have left him with you alone he's right it's my fault" he said looking down at his phone. You were stunned and could barely speak "look b he's texting me again." He said looking at his phone showing me the messages popping up

Just as he sent it Austin dashed out of the room. You knew exactly what he was doing. He was gonna leave you alone with nick again. Perfect. Now you could talk to him.
As nick came out the bathroom you heard him swearing under his breath.
"Nick can you come here for a sec?" You said hoping nick doesn't ditch you
"Uh sure" he mumbled as he came into the living room and sat down across from you "w-what's up"
"Um I just wanted to talk to you. And you don't have to say a word"
"Ok" he said a bit confused
"Ok. So I don't know how to say this but Austin is my best friend. He tells me everything. And he told me what you texted him. Now before you leave or do anything just know I made him give me his phone so it's my fault I saw them. I know how you feel about me and the fact that you feel this way is amazing to me" I look over at him as his eyes get wide. His beautiful eyes get wide. I know now how I feel about him too. And I'm glad I feel this way. I'm glad he feels this way too. I never looked at him this way and I love it. I think I love him.
"Nick. I like you. A lot. And I'm sorry I made you keep your feelings from me. I thought we were friends
Nick and friends don't keep secrets from each other. Just next time be honest with me and know how much I love you. And you not have to speak now but if you want to tell me everything, you totally can." I saw nicks facial expressions change and I can't read them until he finally speaks
"Ok hears the truth. I wake and think about you. I go to bed and dream about you. I think about you every day and it's not healthy. It's unhealthy. There's no point in holding my feelings anymore. So just know that I want to date you. I want to kiss you. I want to wrap you in my arms and I'll still miss you because I'm so crazy for you. And I just want to ask you out."
"Then ask me out." I say staring into his eyes.
"B. Will you go out with me?" He said grabbing me hand.
"I would love to."
