It's was summer and me and Jade went to the pool. I loved the pool especially because on tuesdays and others days of the week no one went so it was practically just us there in the neighborhood pool. Until jade ruined it by inviting her boyfriend Brett and his friends to join. Honestly I love going to the pool with friends but today I wasn't expecting anyone else to really be there so I wore an extremely revealing bikini. I was planning to get some serious tanning time in but apparently that'll have to wait for another time. Too quickly the boys arrived with snacks and a cooler. At least this trip won't be a total waste.

"Hey j" Brett said walking up to Jade giving her a big sloppy kiss on her cheek and around her neck
"Hahaha very funny B. this is my friend, Kaley. You remember her right?"
"Oh um, yeah I guess" he said scratching his head. Boys.
"Well anyway here she is. I was kinda hoping she could ya know. Hook up with one of your friends." She said loudly whispering to Brett
"Hey!!" I said to Jade shoving her in the arm.
"Aye Nick prolly dig you. He always wanted a thick light skin anyway." He said not so secretly looking at my very detailed curves.
"What's this about a cute light skin I'm hearin?" A cute Italian guy walked up carrying a cooler and some beer tucked inside his armpit.
"Oh hey Nick this is Kaley" Brett said introducing us.
"Nice to meet you." I said extending my hand for him to shake it.
Instead, he put the cooler and drinks down, came over, and kissed my hand.
"Oh" I said then shut my mouth. Oh.
"So we'll leave you two." Brett said scooping Jade up in his arms and throwing her into the pool. Then jumped in shortly after.
"Oh um, my real name is Nick Mara."
"Ok." I said. Mara. Mara. Jade Nicole Mara?
"Um sorry for the hand kiss thing by the way. I just get really nervous around pretty girls." He said looking me straight in the eyes.
"Oh thank you." I said staring down.
"I'm in a boy band." He blurted out apparently shocked by his own remark.
"Oh really? That's cool"
"Yeah Simon Crowell himself put us together." He said trying to stay as modest as possible. Apparently not enough
"Oh wow are you serious? That's so cool I love Simon" I said this time staring at him. "So how do you know Brett? Is he in your guy's band?"
"Oh Brett. No no. I met him in a pretty funny way actually. I was walking down South Hampton Street Mall and then I see this guy running after this girl (Jade) and at first I assumed he was trying to steal from her so I ran up to him and went in between him and Jade. He was pissed I got in his way but then he pulled out a gun on me. After that apparently some officer snuck up behind him and tackled him to the ground but then I found out later that Brett sent the officers because he saw the gun pointed at me. And then he like thanked me and stuff for helping his girl and yeah we've been tight ever since."
"Oh my gosh. That's crazy." I said and I meant it. Although I'm shocked Jade never told me that.
"Yeah. Oh hey um maybe one day we could um like go out for ice cream or something?" Nick said as he grabbed my hand.
"Yeah. I'd like that."
