The cool tone of the asphalt sky accentuated the probing colors of the neon signs that adorned LoveSick.

The dazzling red script of the word "Love" counteracting with the blinding white script of "Sick" never failed to catch my attention. LoveSick was definitely one of the most prestigious love hotels in the city. With rooms ranging at all price points, couples of all backgrounds were definitely invited and treated well.

The building's interior was just as impressive, if not more so. Glass sheets coated the walls, water mixed with red glitter hearts and other cute things flowed through them, all highlighted by neon pink lights to help set the mood. Three chandeliers draped from the ceiling, their light set low to create a more intimate feeling in the room. Large, velvet red couches in the shape of hearts filled the lobby, the color wildly contrasting the sparkly pearl-like tile that it lied on.

The lobby itself could be a massive hotel room if the owners wanted it to be.

The sound of my boots hitting the pearlescent tile resonated throughout the lobby, the sound of Namjoon's steps mingling with mine. We were dressed casually, in the hopes of not give away our plans to bystanders who lingered around the space, waiting for their lovers to appear.

Walking up to the marble desk molded into the wall, I cleared my throat to catch the attention of the employee working at the computer. Namjoon turned his back, leaning it on the counter to face anyone who might attempt to overhear our conversation.

Cocking my head to the side, I couldn't help but notice the employee. His chocolate brown locks hung low on his forehead, circular glasses framing his face, and bunny-like teeth hopping out of his smile. At first glance, a kid like this shouldn't be working at a place like this, as small as he was. However, when he raised his hand to push his glasses up the bridge of his nose, my eyes caught a glimpse of the built arm flexing slightly underneath his red button down, ultimately pushing my thought to the side.

"Good evening gentlemen! How can I help you this evening?" He asked, his calm voice flowing through his lips.

"We'd like to specific room for our stay tonight." I drawled out, never getting over how long this process takes.

His eyes discreetly bounced from mine to the back of Namjoon's head, no doubt observing us since we don't seem like "folks" interested in renting a room.

"Do you know the room number?"

"Room 177."

Looking behind us, the bunny boy's cheery disposition altered itself to a serious one. Pulling down my face black mask, I placed my index finger and my middle finger on my bottom lip, and my thumb under my lip. Flipping my bottom lip, he inspected it quickly, his eyes meeting my tattoo immediately.

Clearing my throat, Namjoon's head turned, beginning to pull his bottom lip for the boy to inspect as well. Heading to the wall of red and white room keycards, he pulls out two black key cards and slid them across the desk's top.

"We moved the entrance again since people were getting nosy about all of the commotion at the janitor's closet. Walk to the employee bathroom and head into the stall with the sign on it." He held one card between two fingers as he continued, "Just flash this bad boy on the tile with the crack in it and you're all set!"

Nodding at him silently, I picked up the cards and headed to the bathroom, my steps mingling with the pop music playing lowly in the lobby. However, I couldn't help but notice that another sound wasn't mingling with mine.

Turning my back, I saw Namjoon speaking to the bunny boy, laughing and ruffling his hair as the young boy whined in refutation. Namjoon must've sensed my gaze, because he let go of the boy's hair, gave him a pound, and walked towards me with his eyes cast low.
