"Fitz, this is Greg. He's your speech therapist."
Simmons gestured towards the man, tall and slim with a little too much facial hair for her liking.
"Oh, hi." She couldn't help but notice that he sounded less than enthusiastic.
"I'll leave you guys to it."

"So how was it?" Simmons asked, sitting beside Fitz on the bed. He used to dislike physical contact a little, and she was glad that he trusted her enough to let her be close to him.
"Awful. Really awful." Fitz scowled, and Simmons laughed at his expression before he quelled her with a glare. "No, really, he spoke to me like I was five years old and fresh outta kinder-gar-ten."
Simmons smiled sympathetically. "You poor darling. Would you like me to read you a bedtime story?"
Fitz sent her a glare that sent a shiver down her spine, so she stopped teasing him and patted his hand. "You'll be alright."
His expression lightened. "I know."

"Skye!"
Simmons sprinted down the corridor and flung herself into her friend's arms. Skye hugged her back, grinning broadly.
"Your hair smells like lavender. Did you finally have a shower?" She teased, releasing her friend. Simmons smiled.
"It was May who finally got me to face my fear."
"Yeah, she's good at that." They stood in silence for a moment until Simmons finally spoke up.
"Do you want to see Fitz?"
"Yes! How's he doing?" Skye replied enthusiastically and the two set off back to Fitz's room.
"Really well. He had speech therapy today, and really detested it, but he'll warm up to the guy, I hope. Actually, I didn't like him that much either. He seemed a bit... full of himself, you know? But Fitz is great. He remembered his sandwich, prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella, but not the pesto aioli. That'l come soon, I hope." Simmons chattered.
"Out of all the things from his past that he could have remembered, he remembered a sandwich?" Skye asked incredulously, holding the doorhandle and pushing it downwards.
"Mm, it's a little odd, but any improvement is good improvement."
Fitz was wide awake when they walked in, sitting up with his back propped against the pillows. "Skye, isn't it? Jemma's told me all about you."
Skye looked briefly at Simmons before sitting down on the chair. "Yeah, I'm Skye. I brought you that monkey. Has Simmons told you why you love them so much?"
Fitz nodded happily. "She did. And she also told me why she doesn't want one as a lab ass-isstant. Jemma, come sit down, you look lone-ly."
Simmons sat down on the bed beside him, smiling warmly at him.
"What else do you want to hear about yourself?" Skye asked. "'Cause Simmons and I would be happy to tell you."
"Well, there is one thing..."

Pandora's Box by AliceMist
Fitz has been taken and according to Jemma it's all her fault. Now she has to get him back, before things end up much worse than any of them have ever imagined. Little does she know that her rescue plan happens to make things worse: Not only for him, but for the rest of Coulson's team. Will the team be able to rescue Fitzsimmons or will the rest of the world turn nothing but rubble by the end of the week? Only one thing is clear, they have to rescue Fitzsimmons or the world as they know it will end.
This story is pure brilliance.
