Emily's POV
I caught a cab back to the foster home and went straight to the office, looking for the foster teacher. I finally found him sitting at his desk.
"Who told you?" I asked, out of breath.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"My dad," I said still puffed out.
"I don't know , I just got a very official letter, saying that it was missing, I'm not sure from who." he said.
"Thank you," I whispered leaving the room.
I decided to forget about this "joke" and text Jack G
To Jack G
Hey, apparently someone's trying to pull a prank on me?
I texted him for a little bit more and this was our conversation.
JG/ really?! Are you ok?
E/ yeah, I just want to do something to get my mind of it.
JG/ I know Nash wants to hang out with you ;)
E/ I don't know if I really like him yet though...
JG/ just give him a chance, he's calling you right now.
After Jack G sent that text, I received a call from Nash.
"Hello?" I said into the phone.
"Hey, Emily it's Nash," he said sounding nervous.
"Um what's up?" I asked trying to Break the ice.
"Do you want to go on a date with me?" he asked, and I could hear him shaking through the phone.
"Sure, why not," I said, hearing Nash sigh in relief.
"I'll pick you up at 7:30 and wear something casual," he said.
"Ok thanks,bye," I said hanging up.
Casual? this sounds likes it's going to be a fun first date.
