Kayla's POV
After Emily and Nash left , it was really awkward between me and Hayes. I didn't have any feelings for him, I only had feelings for Matthew.
"So.." Hayes said, obviously trying to break the awkward silence.
"So" I replied back.
"You're kind of boring.." he said, making it even more awkward.
"I'm boring? you're the one who invited me over," i said starting to get mad.
"Fine, I'll think of something to do," he said sounding mad as well.
"I have an idea," I started.
"What is it?" he said sounding interested.
"You won't like it," I replied.
"Just tell me Kayla!" he said, sounding annoyed.
"We could spy on Nash and Emily," I finished, turning to look at him.
"That's not a bad idea, but how do we get there, I can't drive." " He said, looking at me for an answer.
"But I can.." I started again.
"What? your like 12," he said.
"I had a hard life, I have even able to drive since I was 9," I said , "plus, I'm turning 11 soon," I finished.
"Fine, but if we get caught I'm blaming you, and who's car can we use," he said.
"I thought maybe you would have a car," I trailed of.
"I do, but it's Nash's," he said.
"So? come on let's go!" I shouted excitedly grabbing Hayes hand.
"Ready?" I asked, starting the car.
"Ready." he said sounding scared, as I just laughed.
We drove to the beach, and luckily no one picked us up.
"Ok, I can see them over there," I whispered to Hayes.
We hid behind a bush right in front of the picnic Nash has set up , and listened intensively.
"Emily, will you be my girlfriend?" We heard Nash ask.
"Oh my gosh," me and Hayes said at the same time.
Matts POV
I was so mad at Nash, he knew I liked Emily, but no he had to go ask her out.
"Bro, are you ok?" Jack G asked me, he also knew that I liked Emily.
"What do you think?" I said, I was beyond pissed.
"Well, you shouldn't be because I just got a text from Nash," he said, looking at his phone.
"What are you talking about?" I said, starting to get interested.
"Emily said no",
