Emily's POV
I started getting ready for my date with Nash, but I didn't know what to wear.
"Kayla?" I asked.
"Ya," she said looking up from her book.
"I need your help," I said sheepishly.
"Ooh Emily, do you need help picking out an outfit?"
She said giving me the most creepiest look.
"Um yea," I said, looking down.
Kayla started looking through my closet, when I received a text from Jack G.
To Emily
Hey, Nash is really excited, he just asked for my help with clothes😂 what have you done to this boy.
I laughed at the text, and continued figuring out what I was going to wear.
"What about this?" Kayla asked holding up a white sweater and yoga pants.
"No, that's to relaxed," I said, and continued to keep on looking.
"What about this?" she said again, holding up a blue shirt, black cardigan and denim shorts.
"It's perfect," I said giving Kayla a hug and going to change.
Kayla's POV ( didn't see that one coming did you ;) )
After Emily went to get changed, I went back to writing in my book, I wrote a couple of quotes I made up, when Emily received a text. I looked over at her phone and it read.
To Emily
Hey, so Matt found out about the date.. he's pretty pissed.

Matt liked Emily? I thought and nearly started crying but then Emily came in.
Emily's POV
I came back into the room, after I had finished changing and Kayla looked like she was about to cry.
"What's wrong?" I asked Kayla, sitting next to her on the bed.
"Oh, nothing," she said, " that suits you by the way."
"Thanks," I said.
Kayla went back to writing in her book so I checked my phone, I had 2 messages. Both from Jack G.
To Emily
Hey, so Matt found out about the date.. he's pretty pissed
That's harsh, I mean I kinda like Matt, but It's to late I'm going with Nash. The second one read.
To Emily
Hayes wants to hang out with Kayla, while Nash is at the date, can you ask?
I laughed, Hayes and Kayla would be so cute together.
"Hey Kayla, want to hang out with hayes?" I said giving her googly eyes.
"Sure," she said not sounding excited, " I'm going to get ready," she said leaving the room.
I was on my phone, waiting for Nash, when I saw Kayla's book sitting open on her bed. should I look at it?

Shut up , conscience, I can't,

No.
I fought with my mind a bit longer, and I gave in. I went over to her bed and read what she had just written.
Hey book, so ya apparently Matt likes Emily. That ruins my chance with him, but I mean on that night when me and Emily went to Nash's , Matt kept trying to hold my hand, guess that meant nothing.
Bye for now book Emily's coming and I'm about to cry.
Oh my gosh, she likes Matt.
