The Changing

Unbelievable

...........

"Come on Cas!!!" Audrey screamed from the car.

"I'm coming I'm coming" I said as I ran to the car and got in.

My mom swerved off.

For hours and hours and many sad looks from Audrey, we still couldn't find one she liked. My mom and I were trying not to grow frustrated.

"There's only one more neighborhood on the next street" she said.

I prayed that she would find something. Goodness, I'm tired, I'm hungry, and I've had it already.

It wasn't long before we were already in the neighborhood. We drove past so many houses..no forget that TOO many houses.

"STOP THE CAR!" Audrey shouted.

The car came to a screeching halt and my mom looked at her like she was crazy.

"This is it!!" Audrey jumped out of the car and ran up to the door. "This is the one I want!"

My mom and I got out of the car and walked up to her.

"It's so nice!"

Audrey shook her head with a smile as she looked inside of the windows.

"Let's take a picture"

I ran to the car and got my phone out of the backseat. While trying to get to the camera I was interrupted by someone yelling from across the street.

"How dare you disobey me...not just one both of you!" The voice called out. I didn't want to be nosey...but I had to be. I looked up to see the man violently unlocking the front door. One of the girls was crying hysterically and the other was looking around, clearly embarrassed. She looked so familiar, they both did.

She turned around and looked around until her eyes locked with mine.

I couldn't believe it...... It was them.

Her eyes widened and I could feel my heart beating out of my chest.

"Cas you know better than to stare" my mom loudly whispered.

I couldn't help it... If only she knew.. That those two girls weren't even supposed to be alive..
