For a second her eyes looked right into his. She quickly moved her head away, trying to avoid his eyes.

She didn't need him, she needed to prove that no matter what.

She tried to turn all her attention back to the teacher, but failed. Her eyes kept falling on Jorge.

"You okay?" Cande asked Martina, tapping her lightly on her shoulder. She immediately turned around towards Cande. "You need to stop thinking about him Martu, he's no good for you." Cande whispered, making sure the teacher didn't notice them.

"I know but he is just..." Martina mumbled in response while she looked down. She started playing with her fingers on her lap. "so cute and handsome."

"I know, but confidence is key. You know he hurt you." Martina nodded her head.

As the teacher finished the class, she quickly stood up from her seat. Without looking at Jorge she marched out of the classroom. She walked through the school towards her next lesson.

She moved herself in the room and sat down in a seat. Slowly the rest from the class came in as well. They had a test for English.

Martina searched for a pen in her pencil case, but she couldn't find one. She turned to Cande but she was talking to Lodovica. There was a light tap on her shoulder from behind.

She turned and was met by Jorge's hazel eyes. "Here." He handed her his pen, their fingers touching moderately. Without emotion she grabbed the pen from his hand and turned back towards the teacher. Not one word left her mouth.

"You can start now." The teacher said as everyone turned their paper and started writing.

Both Jorge and Martina hadn't learned for the test. Their minds had been elsewhere. Only Jorge, the smart guy he was, had made a cheat sheet.

Though at the moment he opened his cheat sheet, the teacher noticed. He walked past all the tables towards Jorge, grabbing the small piece of paper from under his table.

"Cheating, Mr. Blanco?" The teacher said, causing the entire class to look their way.

"That's something he does more often." Martina mumbled, loud enough for the class to hear. They all knew already what had happened with the two of them and everyone burst into laughter.

Martina casually sat back in her chair while she looked at Jorge struggling to speak. "What do you mean by that, Miss Stoessel?" The teacher asked while he turned towards Martina.

She flipped her hair slightly backwards. "Nothing." She simply answered, smirking at Jorge. She knew this was the only way to get over him.

Not giving in, but fighting back.

"You'll get a 1 out of 10 Mr. Blanco, you can leave now." The teacher concluded as Jorge sighed deeply. He lifted his bag from the ground and stood up from his chair. He started walking and slightly glanced at Martina when he walked past her.

She lifted her shoulders lightly and flipped her hair backwards again. She then turned her attention back to her test and started filling in random answers. Jorge slowly left the classroom and closed the door behind him.

"She got you hard man." Ruggero laughed when he walked out of the classroom with his best friend.

"I know she did." Jorge answered rudely and grabbed his phone from his pocket. He pretended to send a message, just so Ruggero wouldn't focus on him anymore.

It was break, and both Martina and Jorge didn't know where to go. Every break they would sit together, but now they couldn't. They shared the same group of friends, and all already knew what happened.

Martina and Cande sat down on one side of the table and Jorge and Ruggero on the other side. In the middle of the table all of their friends were busy chatting.

"Martina!" Lodo squealed out when she saw Martina and Cande sitting down by the table.

"What happened with you and Jorge?" She asked, her voice loud, everyone hearing the question. All of their heads, including Jorge's, turned Martina's way.

"He cheated." Martina said, unconcerned, crossing her arms. She sat back down in her chair.

Jorge felt his temper rise. He did not cheat on her, he wouldn't do that.

"I did not cheat!" Jorge shouted while he stood up from his chair, fed up with her accusing him.

Every single person in the cafetaria turned their heads in his way. "You did!" Martina fought back, standing up as well.

"I didn't! Why the hell would I cheat on you!?" He yelled in response, walking beside the table towards Martina.

"Why wouldn't you!?" She screamed angrily, also walking closer to him.

"Because I love you." He finished, mumbling, so only Martina could hear. He then stuffed his hands in his pockets and walked away.

It was the first time he ever told her he loved her. In the 1 year they'd dated they both hadn't been ready to say it.

When the words of Jorge got through in Martina's mind she slowly sat down. Cande and Lodo quickly helped her down when they noticed something was up.

"What did he say?" They asked her, all of their friends moving slightly closer to Martina.

"That he loved me." She said, her eyes a mix of emptiness and confusion.

She grabbed her phone from the backpocket of her black coloured jeans, dialling Jorge's number and holding the phone by her ear.

A few seconds later Jorge picked up the phone. "Martina?" He asked while he walking through an empty street.

"I don't believe you, I don't want to believe in your stupid lies anymore." She started, her voice sounded calm but the words were rude and harsh.

"I hate you Jorge Blanco." She finsihed and hung up the phone.

Everyone in the cafetaria was staring at Martina in disbelief. She grabbed the apple from her plate and simply started eating the red piece of fruit.

"Are you okay?" Lodovica carefully asked her friend while sitting down next to her.

"Of course I'm okay." Martina said, rolling her eyes.

The ringing of the loud bell was heard. Martina stood up from her chair and hung her bag over her shoulder.

Without speaking she walked out of the cafetaia towards her next class. Everyone in the cafetaria had already started talking about something else, only Martina and Jorge's friends were silently watching how she left the cafetaria.

Jorge was already sitting in the classroom again while he thought about what Martina told him through the phone. Just when he was deep in his thoughts, the rest of the class wakled inside, including her.

Oh, why did he fell for someone who was in his own class?

"Martina-" He started when she passed his table but she cut him off.

"Get lost Jorge, it's over. You need to accept that." She declared and sat down in her own chair.

That was the moment Jorge realised he shouldn't try to get her back anymore. He just needed to fight to forget about her.
