mistaken
He stepped inside of his car, hoping to reach the airport before her. He started driving, high over the speed limit.
Martina was sitting in the train. Her black suitcase was standing next to her. Her eyes were stuck on her stomach. A baby was growing inside of there.
She felt like she made the right decision, leaving everything. She'd better survive this on her own, not bothering anyone she cared about.
She grabbed her phone from her pocket. She hadn't had any clue where she was going towards.
destiny Milan, Italy
destiny Prague, Czech Republic
destiny Amsterdam, Netherlands
destiny Barcelona, Spain
She read the flights from her phone. Where should she go?
Jorge drove harshly through the traffic. His mind was raging heavily. The adrenaline in his body was so high, he could run a thousand miles if he wanted to.
This was his only chance to save Martina and his child. His child.
After 30 minutes he arrived at the airport. He parked the car and ran inside the airport. He looked at the boards which were hanging on the ceiling.
Which plane would Martina take?
-
Martina had arrived as well. She decided to go towards Milan. She always wanted to go to Milan.
She walked towards the gate and stood in line. She had bought her tickets and got through the douane.
Jorge had ran though the airport and finally found a kind of reception. He asked the lady to call Martina's name through the microphone.
He just needed to find her.
"Can Martina Stoessel come to the reception?" The lady repeated several times through the mic.
Martina shocked when she heard her name through the microphone. Jorge did follow her.
She wasn't giving in tho, she couldn't screw up his life. She kept cool and stayed in line.
Slowly she got at the front of the line and scanned her ticket over the machine.
Jorge was running around over the airport again. He knew she wasn't going to come towards the reception, she was too determined for that.
Martina walked past the stewardesses, inside the white plane. She sat down in her seat and stared at the seat in front of her.
She was really going to do this.
She put her earphones in her ear, plugged them in her phone, and sat back in a chair. Ready for a long flight.
Jorge was hopelessly searching for her, but the airport was just too big. Just then he saw the board with Milan on top of it.
She always wanted to go to Milan.
He ran past every person and almost flew towards the gate.
He was too late.
The doors had closed and the plane was already rising. Jorge felt how his heart sunk in his chest.
He sat down on a random bench, staring at the flying plane now. And the real problem was that he didn't know for sure if she was in there.
She could be in any plane right now. Maybe she was still walking around at the airport. There was no way he could ever find her.
He had lost her forever. And not only her, but also his baby.
