mistaken
"B-but w-why?" Martina her hands started shaking and she trembled over her words.
"I miss your dad, Francisco, all our friends and family. You have to understand Martina, I left my whole life behind for you, now I want to return"
Even though Martina was being really selfish, she didn't know herself. She felt really reasonable.
"But mom! You can't! I don't want to go back to that stupid country, I can't!" Martina angrily screamed while she placed Olivia on the ground.
"Lower your voice darling. I know you don't want to go back, but I can't handle it anymore to be away from Alejandro and Francisco" Her mother explained while she remained calm, unlike Martina.
"No mom you can't do this to me!" Her voice angrily shouted while she stood up from the couch.
"Honey..." Her mom sighed but Martina was not planning on calming down anytime soon. She was furious, not that it was her right to be.
"Leave then! Leave me and Olivia! I'm not going with you!" Martina yelled while turning away from her mom.
Mariana sighed and placed her hand on her daughters shoulder. Martina immediately swiped her hand off.
"Leave" Martina muttered under her breath. Anger was unmissable in her voice.
"But hon-" Mariana tried without succeeding.
"Leave" Martina repeated herself, the same tone as before.
A deep sigh left Mariana's mouth before she stood up from the couch.
She walked up the stairs while Martina avoided her look. Minutes later she cane walking conman stairs again with her suitcases in her hand.
"I don't want to leave you alone, really. Maybe I'll come back for a few days, but I can't bare being away from so many people I love anymore. I'm so so sorry darling" Tears welled up in Mariana's eyes while she walked closer to her daughter who was still with her back turned to her.
"Leave" Martina muttered again, her body was still angry.
Martina had no single right to be angry, but she was. She was being more selfish than ever.
Another sigh left Mariana's mouth before she walked another step closer to Martina. She kissed her brown hairs on the back of her head.
She then lifted her suitcases and slowly left the house. Martina turned around and watched her mother leave through the door.
The door closed and that was the moment Martina bursted out in tears. Olivia lifted her face up to her mother as a confused look turned on he little face.
"Why are you cwying?" Her tiny voice asked while she lightly leaned against Martina's leg.
"Don't worry honey, mommy will be fine" Martina said while she fake smiled through her tears. She lifted her daughter up in her arms and held her close to her chest.
A small smile formed on Olivia's face while she kissed her mothers cheek carefully.

"I miss you a lot, and I know you miss everyone here too. Why didn't you just follow your mother?"Her voice said through the phone.
"Cause I don't want to go back! I miss you guys too, but I just can't Cande. I don't belong there anymore" Martina said while tears formed in her eyes again.
Nobody understood how she felt. Nobody understood what she meant or what she needed. Noet even her mom. Not even Jorge.
"Martu.. please" Cande tried but Martina's decision was clear.
"I'm not returning, sorry" Martina finished before hanging up the phone and throwing it on her desk.
She felt like she dissapointed everyone. But she just wanted to feel happy, a feeling that she hadn't had for a long time.
This was all too much for her. She needed to change her life, big time.
She took her car keys and walked towards Olivia who was bravely palying with her toys on the ground.
"You want to stay with Hannah for the night?" Martina asked as Olivia's face shot up and nodded happily.
Hannah was Olivia's best friend. Martina met Hannah's mother, Emily, when she was pregnant. They were pregnant at the same time and got through the process together.
It was someone she could always count in. And also like a second mother for Olivia since Emily and Hannah were around a lot.
Together with Olivia she got in the car and drove to Emily's house. "Martu! Olivia!" Emily surprisingly said while she opened the door.
"Em!" Martina said back, a fake smile plastered on her face.
"Can Olivia stay here for the night? I've got something to do" She nicely asked while Olivia had already runned inside. She had spotted Hannah.
"Of course, have fun honey" Emily said and gave her best friend a small hug before waving her goodbye.
Martina rapidly got in the car and sat down in the drivers seat. She placed her hands on the steering wheel and breathed in deeply.
"Goodbye" She whispered before starting the car and drivivng, far away.
15 minutes later she arrived on the airport, nothing she had with her. Only some money and her phone.
She walked into the airport and looked at the board with the flights.
3 years ago it was just like this, only on the airport in Buenos Aires. She didn't had a clue where to go, just like now.
Argentina, Buenos Aires
She read as she felt a block in her throat. She hesitated to step to the desk, but shook it off and knew it was better not to go.
Spain, Seville
She then read and closed her eyes while breathing out deep. She stepped towards the desk and bought a ticket to Spain.
30 minutes later the gate opened and person by person she came closer. She scanned her ticket and walked inside the plane.
"Goodbye" She whspered again while she looked back one more time. She stepped inside the plane and took place on her seat.
Martina opened her phone and got to her photos. Pictures of her and Olivia, tears rolled down over her cheeks. But this was the best, for everyone.
She couldn't dissapoint any more people she loved. She didn't deserve to be in their lives.
At least, that's what she thought.
