mistaken
"Her phone and her wallet are the only things that are gone." The police concluded after they spectulated the entire house in Italy. Emily had enabled the police of Italy, while the police of Buenos Aires was talking to Mariana and Alejandro, thats how they got more information.
Martina had been missing for almost 3 days already and everyone was still hopelessly searching. The thought that she was dead appeared more and more in peoples minds, but still no one had said it out loud.
Jorge was the only one who knew for sure that she wasn't dead, and he wasn't giving up the search anytime soon.
"But if you call her it immediately sends you to voicemail and says that the number is gone" The police men added while thinking, "This means that the phone has to be ruined or she bought a new one"
"But then why would she have taken her phone in the first place?" Emily asked them, while she held Jorge on facetime next to her.
"We actually really don't know" They admitted while sighing. "There are no tracks or things which lead to a kidnapping, she could've ran away herself but most probably she would've taken more stuff to survive. The only logical thing is that she's lost and doesn't know where she is. But we have no clear clues for that either, we can't confirm it" Jorge took a hand through his messy brown hair, a worried sigh left his lips.
Emily pressed her pinkish lips onto each other and thanked the agents for their time. They promised they'd get more into the situation and try to figure out where Martina was before they took step out of the door.
Emily rubbed her eyes, she was tired, she hadn't slept all night because she kept searching and worrying.
"You should go to sleep" Jorge said with a merced smile stuck on his lips.
"No I need to help the agents, I need to make sure everything will work out. I need to tell them exactly-" She rambled on and on but Jorge stopped her.
"Hey" He said, making her ramble stop. She turned her sight to the small screen on her phone were Jorge was sitting. "Go to sleep, take some rest. Those agents can do it by themselves, you've done enough. We'll continue the search here" Jorge calmly said. To be honest he'd actually rather had the entire world search for Martina 24/7, but he knew Emily needed her rest.
Emily hummed in response before they told each other goodbye. They hung up the facetime and she layed down on the couch, falling asleep within less than a second.

"Jorge, is there any place Martina has ever mentioned when you two were dating? Anything you can remember?" Jorge pressed his lips onto each other and he closed his eyes. His mind was trying to think of any kind of place she ever talked about.
"Baby?" I questioned her while I took some steps closer towards her. She was looking at something on her phone while she had sat down on the couch in my house.
"Hmm?" She replied while her eyes were still stuck to her phone. I sat down next to her on the couch as she took advantage on it and turned with her back to me. She leaned her head against my upper arm while I softly stroke her hairs.
"What are you looking at?" I then asked her as she shrugged.
"Just instagram" Was her reply while she scrolled some more through the pictures. "Wow" She then suddenly said, breaking the peaceful silence that was hanging between us.
"What?" I again asked her, making her lift up her phone. I took the phone from her tiny hands and looked at the picture that was shown on it.
It was a beautiful picture, showing a girl in front of the eiffeltower. She had curly blonde hair and she was wearing a huge hat while posing happily. I smiled while I saw the beautiful lights of the eiffeltower, the picture had been taken in the evening.
"It's gorgeous" I told her while I handed her her phone back. She took it and the closed it, placing it on the table next to her.
"I know right" She then replied as I kissed her soft brown hairs. "This is the place I want us to go on our honeymoon, it's the place of love you know" She started up serious but ended in a giggle.
I laughed slightly at her words. "And how are you so sure that we're getting married?" I teased her, raising my eyesbrow. She let out another adorable giggle.
"I just know" She simply said in response, making me laugh another time.
Jorge shot out of the memory and opened his eyes. He saw the two agents looking at him with a confused look while they moved their heads slightly forward.
"I think I know where she is" He then exclaimed, making all of their eyes widen. Almost everyone was here. Cande, Lodo, Mariana, Francisco, Facu, Diego, only Ruggero and Alejandro were busy somewhere else.
He jumped up from the wooden chair that he was seated on. He took his jacket which was spread over the table. He ran out of the building while he felt all the eyes burning in his back, only no one moved. They all knew Jorge wanted to do this alone.
Jorge rapidly closed the door behind him and got in my car as quick as he could. He drove with full speed to the airport, crossing every speed limit existing.
He ran out of the car while he felt in his pockets. His phone and his wallet were inside of it, perfect.
He stepped onto the huge airport, knowing exactly where to go since he had been here a lot lately. He bought a ticket for the soonest plane flying to Paris. The woman behind the desk gave him a ticket and a wink, but he decided to ignore it.
He held the ticket tight in his hands while he sat down, waiting for the gate to open. If Martina had ran away herself, this is the place she'd most probably went to.
The place they would have their honeymoon, if that's ever going to happen anyway. That stupid rumor that Jorge cheated 3 years ago, ruined everything. That's the instigator of all the drama that was in their lives at the moment.
It was the reason they broke up in the first place, the reason they avoided each other. Jorge remembered the time they were broken up but they saw each other everyday. He remembered that one time that created Olivia.
He remembered how she vomited in the girls toilets of the bathroom, how stupid he was not to figure out what was wrong.
Over the speakers he heard his gate was opened. He quickly walked towards it and scanned his ticket.
