                                                                                     Molly

I slam the door and walk over were Haley and everyone else is. I'm trying really hard to keep the tears back. I can feel one run down my cheek and I wipe it off with my sleeve. Haley sees me and ask if I'm ok. I nod and say that I got something in my eye.

"Ok Molly. I'll introduce you to the rest of the group." She points at the only boy. "This is Tyrone and that is Cecilia." Pointing to the other girl. Tyrone is a tall brown and really curly haired guy with a few freckles. Cecilia has really long and straite blond hair and I can tell she is a major girly girl. They say hi and I say it back.

"Ok, now that you know everyone lets go find a soul." Haley says excitedly grabbing me by the arm and pulling me by the arm to a blue truck. In there Tyrone drived and Haley sat shot gun going on and on about some type of monster I never heard of so I talked to Cecilia.

"Hey." I say nervously. She is not the kind of girl I would usually make friends with. She was wearing a skirt with glitterly sneakers. Had a nice puffy and pink tank top on. With her strait hair stopping half way done her back. She was the youngest of all of us. Probably thirteen.

"Hey." She says back smiling. "You excited about your first soul catching."

"Ya. I guess." I say with butterflies in my stomach.

We talked about stuff for awhile and I really got to know her. I realize I misjudged her. We finally arrived to where the tracker said there was a soul and we unloaded the truck and got are swords out. I don't know what I was thinking when I thought it was going to be easy.

I thought it would be a stranded soul that looked like Aiden. Human with two arms and two legs. But that is not the case. I must not have been listening when they said that when souls die they could change into anything they wanted. Usually into something scary.

We found the soul two blocks from where we parked. It didn't look anything like Aiden. It was way taller probably about eight feet tall. It was wearing a dark robe like the grim reaper. But where its face was suppose to be was blackness.

I was starting to panick inside, but everyone else looked so calm so I pushed it down and listened to them. "Ok. Lets split up." Haley said. "I'll go with Tyrone. Molly and Cecilia will go together. Ready? Go!"

Cecilia and I run leaving Haley and Tyrone behind. The soul follows us into an alley and we duck behind a dumpster.

    "What now?" I ask.

"I'll go distract it and you sneak up behind it." She says running out in front of it.

Right away I know it isn't a good idea. The soul seems to be after me. I don't know why, but it just is. Cecilia starts to taunt it.

"Cecilia!" I scream. "Watch out!" But it's to late. The soul swings his arm out and it nails her. She goes flying and lands nailing her head against one of the alley walls. She's knocked out cold.

The soul comes towards me. I try not to panic. All I have to do is hit it with my sword. I see it in my hand and I throw it at it. It flies through the air and goes right above his shoulder. I missed. There is no way I can get passed it. No way to retreive it. There is nothing else to do but give up.

I stand there and wait as it walks towards me. I look into the blackness and all the happiness runs out of me. I'm shivering it gets so cold. Then darkness comes crashing in I can feel the soul sucking mine out. I prepare myself for the end and I know this is how Aiden felt. I would never get to see Aiden again. A tear ran down my cheek.

I realized I want to live. I want to see Aiden again and tell him I'm sorry. I fight, but I know it won't be enough. But at least I get to live a bit longer. Suddenly the pain stops and I stop shivering. The light comes flooding in. Then the soul glows bight and swirls around disappearing into a bright light.

I look around expecting to see Haley and Tyrone standing there because I think they're the ones who saved me. But it's not. It's Aiden with my sword in his hand. I'm so surprised I just stare. I can't even thank him.

"Hey. Weren't you ever told staring wasn't polite?" He says and I finally blink. "Oh and your welcome."

"Oh thanks. What are you doing here?" I say trying to hide that I'm so glad to see him.

"You don't think I would just let you die?" Aiden replies walking over to me to hand me my sword.

"You could have been sent to the light for touching my sword!" I say.

"No. You have to touch the blade." He says cooly.

"Did you know that?" I ask because I sure didn't.

"No." He says kind of embarassed.

"You are such an idiot!" I scream because I can't stand the thought of losing him.

"I don't care! I knew it could of!" He screams back. "But I did it to save you." He says in a calm voice.

"Why would you do that." I say as tears run down my cheeks.

"Because I love you." He says as he touches my cheek wiping a tear off my cheek. We leaned forward and kissed. I didn't feel like I thought it would of. It didn't have the warmth and heat like two alive people's kiss. He sees it in my eyes and pulls away.

"You don't love me do you." He says turning away.

I grab his arm  pulling him back towards me and we kiss again. "I love you too."
