Stranded Souls

Chapter 19

    I was just standing there with the guards holding me back when Molly died. I saw her soul come out of her body. I screamed no and tried to break free to help her, but I couldn't. I was going to be forced to watch her as she entered the machine. But she never did.

    Before she could Cecilia came out of no where and stabbed the machine with her sword. None of us knew what was coming next, but it still happened. The machine might of stopped working, but something inside it didn't.

    Something inside it caused a bright light to come out. It hit everyone in the room. I don't know how it did it, but it did. The two guards let go of me and fell to the ground. Kristen looked so mad at Cecilia but not for long because she too fell and died.

    Cecilia died, but unlike the rest she had her soul stay like what I did. I could still see the light above so I know she was still planning to leave. Then there was just Molly and I. I saw the light hit Molly going through her. Then Molly's soul got thrown back into her body.

    The light. It was hitting people in the room and if you were alive you would die and if you were dead you would be alive. I could see Molly was going to wake up. I was ready to shout something to her, but I didn't get the chance.

    The light hit me and I felt it run through my body. I felt my nerves coming back. I was starting to feel alive. Then the light took over my vision and it was all I could see. I felt myself being pulled out of the room now. I was flying through the air.

    The light was now getting brighter and I was moving faster. I felt myself getting dizzy. I want it to stop. The light gets brighter and brighter and I think I'm going to be blind. Then it all stops. I stop moving and it goes completely dark.

    I try to make my eyes adjust, but they don't. There is no light coming from anywhere. I decide to try to sit up. When I do I hit my head. I lay back down in pain. At least I know I'm alive now. I try to move my arms and legs, but there is no space to move them.

    I think about what just happened. Molly got sent back to her body so I must of got sent back to mine! That means I'm in a coffin buried in the earth! And no one probably knows where! Screaming won't help because no one will be able to hear me.

    All I can do is hope that Molly, Haley, and Tyrone can find me in time. Until then all I can do is just stay here. I hope they know I'm back in my body somewhere and that I didn't run away from them. All I can do is hope that Molly will save me.
