A few weeks have passed after the whole drama between that girl and me. Haven't been seeing her at school so that's a win win on my part.
I groaned, it's been weeks but I can't get over the fact that I claimed Asher as mine! Like....why??? Now he thinks I like him! Which I absolutely do not!
Fine I do... But it's not like I'm gonna say it to him or anything! 'You're such a tsundere sometimes...' My conscious snickered.
(Imagine someone who acts rude, mean but is actually really caring, sweet but won't show it. Especially when liking someone. "It's not like I like you or anything! Baka!!!")
'Just ask him out already'
I rolled my eyes, no way! He likes me, he'll ask me. 'Shut up tsundere! If he asks you, you get flustered and mad. You ask.'
I thought for a moment....hmm maybe she's right.... I will ask him.
Meanwhile... (Asher's POV) ^w^
Oh lord... Riley beating up that girl kept on repeating over and over in my head. Especially the part when she said I was hers! Not like I hate it or anything.
I'm hers either way. Wait....no! I'm not hers...? Yes I am but I haven't claimed her as mine? Fully? Properly?
Should I ask? Hmmm, maybe I should... but when?
At that moment my phone started ringing, "Hello?" I answered.
"Marshmallow, my unicorn son-in-law!" A happy voice said in the other side of the line. "It's Maya btw, Riley's momma"
What the... how did she get my number? Before I was about to ask, she interrupted, "Oh, you're probably wondering how I got your number. Easy! I have my ways!"
"How-"
"Do not question me young man!" She said cutting me off again. I sighed and agreed.
"Now, let's get down to business...DO DEFEAT THE HUUUUNS!!! Sorry, couldn't resist. I want you to keep Riley at your house tonight if that's okay with you."
"May I ask why?"
"What did I say about questioning me!?" She boomed. Then she started laughing, "Just kidding, Her father, Blake, and I are going somewhere and I don't want her to be alone cause the last time she was, she almost burned down the place."
"But she must have been so young." I said trying to defend her. "Asher, sweetie, listen to me....that was last week."
"Why can't you take her with you guys?"
"Can't you or not? If not I'll just ask her other friend. What was it? Jake? I think that's his name. I would have said Casey but she's out of town. Well that's what Riley said."
"I'll do it!" I cleared my throat, "Yeah I can."
"Yay! Okay good!" She cheered. "RILEY!!!!" I heard her yell through the phone. "Yeah mom?" Came another voice.
"Pack a bag, you're staying at Asher's tonight." There was some noises in the background, "WHAT!? Why??"
"Don't you question me! Here I packed a bag for you already." She said followed by a thud.
"Moooooom....." Riley whined.
"Go! Come on we have to goooooo!!!! Leave!" Her mother said followed by a door slamming shut. "Love you!"
Then there was silence, "Oh hey? You still there???"
"Yeah"
"Okay cool, well she's on her way. Take care of her."
"Alright."
"Oh and before we hang up I just wanna say that...if y'all plan on doing the naughty, I would like for you to use pro-"
"I got it ma'am! And I don't think that's gonna happen!!! I gotta go clean up the place, bye!" I yelled hanging up my phone blushing like crazy.
I placed a hand over my mouth. Uhhhhh.... well this will be fun....
