Chapter 1

Elle;
Today's is the first official day of summer vacation, I'm super excited. No more school for two whole months!
I roll out of bed and into the bathroom to brush my teeth and fix my hair, before my mom passed she taught me a lot so we're basically the same person.
I laugh because of my thoughts as dad walks in

"Hey kiddo" dad says "glad to see you're happy"
My smile grows even bigger, is that even possible I wonder.
"It's the first day of summer dad!" I say excited
"How about I take you and the boys and grab some ice cream later?" He asks me
I wasn't gonna say no to such a delicious treat
"yes that would be amazing dad!" I say still smiling
smiling back he says "well kiddo get ready and I'll take over to the boys house since I've gotta work today. But I heard you guys are going swimming"
"Really yay" I jump up and down
"Hurry okay" he says walking out of the bathroom

~ 3 hours later ~
I'm currently at lee & Noah's house, we're about to eat some food because we are absolutely hungry.
their mom brings out three plates with two spaghetti and meatballs and one with just the spaghetti for me. Mom didn't like meatballs so I didn't want them.

"Thank you Mrs. Flynn" I say right before eating
"Of course" she gives me a big smile. "Once you guys are done load the dishwasher and Elle's dad will be here soon" she finishes
"okay" we all say in sync
"I can eat faster than you" Noah says to lee
i look at them both as they stare down each other.
"you're on" lee says picking up his fork
"Ready .. GO!" Noah shouts as they stuff their mouths, I can't help but to laugh a few seconds in.

which was a bad idea to do with food in my mouth because i started chocking. Trying to stop myself the boys swallow what's in their mouths and come over to my side to help. They're too kind.

"Elle you okay?" Noah ask
"are you dumb she's chocking" lee says rubbing my back
Noah grabs a cup of water and hands it to me, I gulp it down and start to feel much better.
"what have I told you Elle?" Lee says giving me a funny look "never talk with food in your mouth"
I chuckle "hey you guys were the one stuffing your faces, I just laughed" we all laughed.

We grabbed our plates and took them into the kitchen, I opened the dishwasher. Lee handed Noah the plates and he washed them off then handed them off to me. After, Lee put the soap in and Noah started it. I smiled out of nowhere, it's my thoughts again.
We are so much like a family and it makes me happy.

"Elle" I hear mrs Flynn call out "your dads here"
Lee and I run to the front door and hug my dad
"Hi mr Evans" lee says
"Good to see ya lee" my dad smiles
"Hi mr Evans" Noah says shaking my dad's hand,
why is he trying to be mature.

We soon arrive to the ice cream polar and get our ice cream and sit dad and mrs Flynn got vanilla and are sitting a table away from us, I got strawberry, Noah got chocolate and lee got chocolate and vanilla mixed.

"So Elle" says Noah
"The Fourth of July is coming up. are you coming down to the bridge with us?" He asks
"um.." I say before getting interrupted by lee
"It's called Independence Day" he says trying to sound intelligent
Noah shoves Lee's nose into the ice cream, causing me to laugh historically.
"So Elle, you were saying" Noah says, looking at lee then at me
"I'll definitely ask my dad. I'd love to come" I say with a smile

We've been relaxing for a while and now it's time to go home, we get ready to go into our separate cars and I'm feeling a little sad. I know I won't be able to see them tomorrow because my dad's taking me with him, I love my dad but He's been working a lot.

I sigh "bye lee bye Noah" I hug them together
"Bye Elle, love ya" lee says
I smile and Noah waves. As I walk I blow them a kiss. Dramatic okay maybe but that's just us, and I love it.
We get into the car and drive home, after arriving it was just about eight so I went to shower and put on night clothes. my dad walked in towards nine.

"Hey kiddo, just wanted to say goodnight and make sure you're tucked in" he says with a smile
"I'm good dad, goodnight" I smile back and blow him a kiss.

I just loved this movie a lot so I thought I'd write about it here on Wattpad!
