Chapter 33

Mat's Pov
I hear Josie whining so as Elle pauses what she was saying I run to her.
Picking her up I rock then ease her into my shoulders patting her back.

"Is she okay?" Elle asks
"She's good. Just overwhelmed by her needle" I say
"I can take her" she says
"No, I've got her. Go lie down and I'll get her settle and we will continue our talk" I say to my wife
While I was rocking jo she began to fall asleep, I eased down the wall and sat on the floor.

"Now. What's going on?" I ask
"You always finish your food" I add
She sighs "mat"
"Babe, tell me" I say reaching for her hand,
she grabs my hand "I am, I am .. late"
I crack a smile and bring my wife's hand to my face and kisses it.
"Don't worry about it. This is nothing to stress about" I say

I stand up and shift jo so she's more comfortable.
"Where are you going?" Elle asks
"I'm going to the store, jo is going in her bed and if you need a lift you'll also be going on the bed" I say
"I can walk" she laughs a little

After getting jo in bed and making sure elle and relaxed I grab my things and head off to the store in search of a pregnancy test.

I walk around up and down the aisle looking highly confused. Once I find it I touch nearly every box unsure of which one to buy.
Apparently my looks didn't go unnoticed and an employee came over to help.

"Hi sir" a nice lady said
"Oh hello" I smile
"You look confused" she says
"Ah yes. I don't know about this stuff and I wanna buy the best of the best" I say
"Your wife's expecting?" She asks
"She might just be" I say
"Well fear no more I'm here to help" she says

She goes over and few of the different brands with me and explains them to me. After I decided which one I wanted, paid and headed home.
~back at home~

"Honey" I say walking through the door
she comes walking down the steps,
"I've got it" I smile
"thank god" she sighs with relief
"I've had to pee forever" she adds and take it from my hands.
"I apologize about that" I chuckle "I couldn't decide and I wanted the best of the best"

She goes into the bathroom after flashing me a smile laughing at my apology.
Elle lets me know when she's done and decides to wait alone inside but won't look until the time is up.
Once the time is up I hear her gasps.

"Did you look?" I ask
"No" she says from inside the bathroom "that two minutes just went by really fast"
She comes out the bathroom.
"Well" I say
She holds out the test and ..
"You're pregnant!" I shout and pull her into my arms
"I'm pregnant" she says into my ear.
We laugh and cry tears of joy.

thinking about doing another look into the future chapter. Since some are prewritten it'll be close to chapter 40 :))
