Chapter 21

(Edit~ this book is still based off the movie so you will still the see the people from the movie + more .. not in every chapter though)

Four years later,
I wake up and head to my bathroom, taking my hair out the bonnet I shake it out and run my fingers through it. I began brushing my teeth, once I finished I go to my closet and pick out the best outfit I could find considering my wardrobe is boyish.
After getting ready I head downstairs, my dads on the couch and turns around as he hears me.
"Good morning" he says
I smile "morning dad"
"Heading out?" He asks turning fully around
"Yeah, a date. I told you, remember?" I say feeling awkward
"Oh yes" he says "can I make you some breakfast?"
"No thanks" I say as I'm putting on my shoes
"Well have fun and don't stay out to late" he says
"Dad okay" I say grabbing my bag
"I will be waiting" He says
"Okay, love you bye" I say walking out the door

When I walk out the door I see a white Jeep at the end of my steps and a smile grows across my face, Mat rolls down the window
"Get in loser, we're going shopping" he smiles
I get inside and buckle up, "Hey" I say
He leans over and kisses my cheek "hi. Hungry?"
I nod "a little, what are you thinking?"
"Something quick then head to the park?" He asks
"Yeah" I smile "jack in the box"
"Got it babe" he says then heads off to that direction
"Hmm" he hums looking at the drive through menu, "bacon croissant looks good, what would you like?"
"Um eggs and cheese biscuits" I tell Mat
"Anything to drink?" He asks "chocolate milk?"
I nod "ya"
"Can I have -" Mat says then orders our food,
Pulling up the window to pay I hand him my card
"I got it" He says pushing my hand down
"Are you sure?" I ask
He grabs my hand and kisses it gently, "positive"
He pays and we get our food then drives off to the park. Mat grabs our food and I get the drinks and we get out and walk over to the branch closes to his truck. We sat down and began to eat,
"Mm" he says after taking a bite
I smile at him looking into his eyes
"Still hot" he says
"Your hot" I say

We exchange looks and my temptation to stay away wears off, I lean over to him and push my lips into his and he doesn't hesitate to do the same.
Mat pulls away, "I love you"
Oddly enough we spent two hours at the park so we get ready to head out.
"Grab your milk I'm gonna toss this out" Mat says
We then get into the truck, starting to drive off I take a few sips of my milk at a time.
"The movie doesn't start until 3, we've got another hour" I tell Mat
"Where do you wanna go?" He asks me
I shrug "I don't know. You have any idea?"
"Let's get there early it's a good twenty minutes away" he says
"Good idea" I say
We head to the theater, with about thirty minutes to spear until the movie started, so we just went inside and sat by the concession stand.
"I bet I know what you're gonna get" Mat says
"What are you talking about?" I ask
"The snacks" he says and points
"Oh. what are you thinking?" I ask
"Kit kat" he smiles
I chuckle "how'd you know?"
"Lucky guess" he smiles

~20 minuets later~
We head over to the stand, we get a large popcorn two large drinks and a bag of mini kit kats,
"Extra butter" Mat says
"Ya" I say, He adds butter to the popcorn and I carry the drinks and snack towards the theater as I do so Mat catches up with me. We grab our seats and munch away as the movie plays.
almost twenty minutes in,
"This movie kinda sucks" Mat whispers
I chuckle quietly "it just started"
"Well-" he starts
"It's getting better hush" I whisper
Mat stuffs his face with popcorn and some kit kat, I eat a little bit of it and sucks down one whole drink, still thirsty
"Could I have some?" I ask mat putting my finger on his drink
"One sec" he picks it up and takes a sip then hands it to me, "all yours"
I then drink most of that, after about 15 minutes Mat seems to be bored as he tapping his feet and running his fingers along the chair in front of him.
I smile at the sight and in my head agree with the fact that this movie is pretty bad, I cross my legs and tap my foot as well.
He looks over at me and puts his hand on my thigh, "You alright?"
I nod "yeah, um I'm gonna use the restroom"
"Figured you'd say that, you drank two sodas" he chuckles and stands up holding out his hand, "c'mon, I'll walk you"
I smile and take his hand, we walk out the theater in the direction of the bathroom.
"You were right" I say
"About your small bladder?" He smirks
I shove his arm, "about the movie being boring"
I say as I walk towards the bathroom door pushing it open, "no boys allowed" I smirk and go inside.

I finish up and we decided to head out, we go back to his house. When we arrive I greet his mom and we head to his tv room.
"I bet Netflix has better movies" Mat says
"I bet" I smile
"How about the Smurf's?" He asks
"Really, you wanna watch that?" I ask
"No" he says with a smirk, "I just wanna be with you"
I then smirk as well and pat the cushion next to me,
"Then come on over"
He does so then pulls me over on his lap and smushes his lips into mine.

this chapter was prewritten. I hope it's enjoyable, i made a change (:
i know this chapter is pretty short but as they go on they'll get better!
