Rey and I waited outside the Resistance base for a few minutes, going over the plan. It was strange being back in my regular clothes again, and seeing Rey with a black wig, glasses, and resistance uniform.
We would confront Hux, and act as if Rey was my prisoner. The story was still being worked out. But Rey and I would get on Snoke's ship... Or should I say, my ship. We could then plan from there.
The first appearance of sunlight showed a bit.
"Ben," Rey whispered, "We have to go."
I had so much anger and hatred boiling up in me towards Hux that I didn't know if I could calmly confront him like this.
"Rey..." I muttered, "We need a different plan."
"What? No! We need to go now!"
"DIFFERENT PLAN!" I yelled.
Rey grabbed my shoulders.
"SHHHHH! Ben Solo, we can not change our plan. You said it yourself that this is the best chance we have of bringing balance to the galaxy once and for all. Let's go."
"But..."
"Ben..."
"Okay," I whispered. I grabbed Rey's arm, and we began our trek to the First Order, making sure to be quick enough to beat the sunrise.
