" Kim says smiling looking at her phone "Yes it was OK, we walk into the fresh air and Kim's boyfriend picks her up and i start walking down the strip, its a beautiful night, i walk past Caesars Palace its lovely all lit up and the fountain's amazing,, as i look over to the fountain i see Zak on his own talking to people he is Mr popular tonight, i smile to myself, as i look away he catches my eye and waves so i have to wave back as it would be rude otherwise, and then he crosses the road, to come over to me, "Hey i didn't catch your name he says waiting for an answer, I'm thinking is that the best line you have got ? but of course i didn't tell him my name, "Its Jo, i say and he holds out his hand like he did earlier and says "Zak" i shake his hand its sweet as he talks "I'm sorry again im not usually like that but we were just messing about i didn't see you, "Its OK i say as we walk side by side through Vegas, "Its late do you live far ? do you need a ride ? " i stop and look at him "I'm fine its not far from here, thanks anyway ," "I wouldn't feel right leaving you to walk home alone, a pretty girl like you, i roll my eyes, "Please i would feel better, "OK i give up you can drop me home, " "OK i will go and get my car wait here, so i wait as he crosses over the road dodging traffic and walks to the car park, the evening is cooling down , Five minutes later he pulls up beside me in a charcoal grey car its beautiful, he motions for me to get in and i open the door and slide into the seat he has the air conditioning on and is playing a Mettalica CD , i know the song, he smiles at me " You will have to give me directions ok " so i give him directions to my place and 20 minutes later we arrive, I take my seatbelt off "Thanks for the ride," "Your welcome" "Can i call you sometime you know to hang out maybe ?" "I dont know i have just met you," well we do both live in Vegas i think , "Look let me give you my number and if you dont call then thats fine " i agree" handing him my phone to put his number into" then he smiles at me and drives off into the sunset like in the films
