Mithila couldn't stop smiling. She stared at Amyra's form that was walking at a fast speed in front of her, looking around for a reasonably good-looking store.
Amyra finally came to a pause in front of a shop, and looked back at Mithila, who was still staring at her. "Come on." Mithila continued staring at the gorgeous human being in front if her, in a trance.
Amyra snapped her fingers in front of Mithila's eyes, which seemed to have made Mithila come back to her senses, when she continued to realise, she had been staring at Amyra for the past 15 minutes. Mithila slowly followed Amyra into the showroom, her eyes scanning over the shelves and taking in the colors spread out over the area. Amyra pulls out a white tee-shirt with patchwork on one of its collars, and hands it to Mithila, guilt clear in her eyes, "I'm sorry I ruined your shirt. Do you like this one? Or you can choose one you li-" Mithila cuts Amyra off from her rambling, no matter how cute she looked with her nose scrunched up and her hair falling perfectly down the side of her face and cascading down her back. She ignored her doe eyes and how pretty they looked with the irregular wings of her eyeliner. Her eyes fall to her lips, which were coated in a layer of red liquid lipstick. Mithila's snap back to Amyra's before she passed her a hesitant smile, making Amyra's cheeks burn.
"Its perfect. Like you." Mithila mutters the last bit under her breathe, silently hoping that Amyra hadn't heard what she said, but by the way her doe eyes widened ever so lightly and her cheeks resembled one of the red flowers in the patchwork of the tee-shirt, Mithila knew she had heard every word she said.
Amyra pays for the tee-shirt and they walk out the store, a comfortable silence falling over the both of them, before Mithila glances over to the female next to her. Mithila glances at the copper earrings dangling down from Amyra's ears, and smiled lightly, noticing the small penguin hanging from her neck.
"Do you mind giving me your number, Amyra?" Mithila shyly asks, felling her cheeks heat up.
Amyra glances up in surprise before nodding her head slowly and putting out her hand, where Mithila places her phone.
Amyra's fingers danced across the phone's keyboard as she typed out her phone number and saved it in the device, and handed it back, before Mithila continues to ask Amyra, "Are you free tomorrow night?"
Anyra nods slowly, before Mithila continues, "Do you wanna come downtown to a cafe with me? I felt like paying you back for the tee-shirt"
At this point, Mithila was just making up excuses to see Amyra again, and she hoped it wasn't obvious.
She glanced nervously at Amyra, awaiting her response, and before they realised it, they were at Amyra's doorstep."Can you pick me up at 4? I'l text you the address. See you tomorrow!" Amyra quickly says, opening the door to her apartment and leaning against the door, a ghost of a smile forming at her red lips.
Mithila continued to stare at the closed door, letting her words sink in, before she ran towards her home, lightly squealing. She lets out a loud laugh along the way, feeling her heart beat quicken at the thought of meeting the beautiful person who had somehow captivated each and every one of thoughts, even though they met only a few hours ago.⚢
