The Captains Son.

Captain Reed knocked on the door. This isn't gonna go well... he was practically my dad after my own passed. "Hey Ryan" I said opening the door, my voice shaking slightly. "That's Captain Reed to you right now" he snarled. He cleared his throat and opened his notebook. "Neighbor called about a noice complaint. Delilah called me personally about a harassment" he glared up from his notebook. "Gavin looked pretty banged up. You wanna explain yourself Maria?" He crossed his arms.
"Look. I get your daughter sides with her brother but this is bullshit" I snapped. Captain Reed widened his eyes. "You wanna know why Gavin was banged up? He tried to rape me that's why!" I snapped pushing my finger into his chest. "Alright Maria that's enough. I've heard a lot of stretched stories from you when you were little but you're an adult now! Grow up! Enough with these outrageous stories! Gavin is not like that!" He snapped. "Oh I'm sorry but I forgot your son is a top detective and the son of a Captain. He couldn't POSSIBLY do anything wrong." I said in a sarcastic voice. "That's enough!" He yelled. "You're only defending him because it's gonna have a bad rep on the station if that information gets out and a bad rep on you" I prodded him. "This is the story as I have it. You called Delilah because you were having a personal problem. When she stepped outside to answer the phone Gavin tried to help you and because you were mad you attacked him." "BULLSHIT!" I yelled. "Yes! I called Delilah but when she stepped out Gavin did come in. That's the only truth of the story! Gavin was being sweet at first but then he began to force himself upon me and attempted to rape me. If it wasn't for Connor coming in and beating his ass he would've succeeded" I explained. "Now your blaming the Android?" He said. We began to argue back and forth. "Captain Reed!" Connor snapped. Arguing stopped. "It was me. I attacked Gavin. He was forcing himself upon Maria and I protected her" Connor explained. "According to Delilah the personal problem you had was because of the android" Captain snapped. Connor tilted his head at me. "If you're having problems with him and he attacked one of my detectives... that's 2 strikes.... one more and I'm sending it back to CyberLife" he yelled. He shook his head. "Watch yourself Lieutenant Miller" he said adjusting his hat and walking away. I slammed the door once he was out of ear shot. "FUCK THIS!" I yelled kicking a chair across the room. I began throwing shit and getting angry when a pair of arms wrapped around me. "Calm down" a calm Connor said. I hugged him tightly and began to cry. "We used to be so close me and Gavin. If it wasn't for you then....then...." tears flooding in. "Shhhhhh. Calm down" he said tightening his grip. "Thank you" I whispered. "Let's get you out of the house." He suggested. I didn't even question where we were gonna go. I just wanted to get my mind off Gavin. Little did I know what awaited us when we arrived.

I know it's short but I figured y'all need a chapter, I'll upload more tomorrow I promise! I work 5AM-5PM tomorrow but I'll find time to write. If not I'll double update the next day. Hope you enjoy :)
