Chapters: 3/9

Yoongi was always a afraid of something, always thinking up the worst outcomes of situations- a pessimist at his finest. He liked to think of himself as a realist rather than a pessimist but honestly, who was he kidding?

He stared at his reflection as it stared back. It was like he was looking at someone else, someone that wasn't him. It seemed so unrecognisable, yet chillingly familiar.

A turtleneck, jeans, and a large black coat all fit snug on his body, covering the wounds and bruises from the night before. He sighed, assessing himself, or whoever it was, between the black wooden frames of his mirror.

Sure, the bruise on his cheek and his cut lip was a dead giveaway of what might have happened but Jimin wouldn't care, right? He, of all people, knows what Min fucking Yoongi does for a living and Min goddamn Yoongi shouldn't care what a kid like him thought.

Jimin asked for this and he either takes what he gets or he leaves it. It's not like it matters. The two of them came to terms that this was the one and only date.

He took one last breath and left home.

Yoongi wasn't pleased. He didn't travel all the way to the other side of town just so Park Jimin could be late.

This side of town was crowded. Very crowded. He glanced around for a bench or just any place to settle but he couldn't move more than ten feet without getting shoulder-checked by someone.

He let out a sigh of relief as the sight of a bench entered his line of sight. There was only one other person there, dressed casually, in a hoodie with its hood pulled up, headphones protruding from the hood.

Yoongi settled and pulled out his phone, sending a text to Jimin about his whereabouts. He let his eyes do the exploring of the city for him. There were flurries of shops from small businesses to large corporations, most caught his interest. He wondered where Jimin would be taking him. He hadn't been in a big city since he and Jin moved to that town. No time, no money.

"Yoongi!" A voice called from the crowd. Yoongi tried to spot orange hair from within the many heads that moved. A hand shot up from ocean of people.

Yoongi waved back in hopes to get Jimin to where he was. "Took you long enough," Yoongi joked lightheartedly.

"Sorry, my ride was delayed and then there was heavy traffic. And argh-"

Yoongi chuckled, "It's fine. It was only like five minutes," He reached up and ruffled the younger's hair. He couldn't possibly get angry at this point.

"...Yoongi?" A voice from behind the two called.

Yoongi quickly twisted around, his hand jerked back from its spot in Jimin's hair , eyes meeting with the stranger from the bench.

No. Incorrect. It wasn't a stranger.

"...Jungk-" He began but not before he was interrupted by the figure in the black hoodie basically pouncing on him.

Definitely Jungkook.

The boy's arms tight wrapped around Yoongi's torso. "Ah, J-Jungkook, you're going to suffocate me,"

Jungkook pulled off, a wide grin settled on his face, bunny-like teeth still intact, "I was going to try to find you after I settled at my university, but I guess plans change for the better,"
