It was Saturday morning. Usually, Yoongi would be getting his beauty sleep before work. And mind you, Saturday was one of the most busy but also the most pocket-filling work days. Most businessmen he met with were on their weekend breaks so Yoongi didn't have to worry about not leaving the place early enough. Not only that, weekends equal more drinking and more drinking equals more charitable people.

However, he just couldn't say no to Jungkook. Mostly because he found Jin and got their address and showed up to their apartment uninvited therefore, he had no choice, but also because he's always had a soft spot for the kid. Now, Jungkook was happily preparing breakfast with Seokjin while Yoongi got ready to take the boy out.

After a few minutes, Yoongi stepped out, his hair kind of half-assed but his outfit was carefully put together.

"And the prince arrives," Seokjin bellows, while stirring up some breakfast-y concoction. Jungkook laughed at the odd nickname.

"Why prince?" Yoongi raised an eyebrow, scratching his head.

"Why not? Whether you think so, or not, you're actually pretty spoiled, no?" The eldest of the three teased.

Yoongi rolled his eyes, "Yeah, yeah, whatever you say, princess,"

Jungkook scrunched his face in disgust, "You guys haven't changed at all, still gross and domestic. Jesus, just get married already,"

"But you wouldn't like that would you," Jin said under his breath but not quiet enough to where Jungkook wouldn't splutter at the response.

"Are you guys talking shit about me, over there?" Yoongi asked as he walked over to the couch and settled in.

"Obviously," Jin retorted.

Yoongi chuckled. He was content at the moment. It felt like the good old days. The days when the three of them would just hang out and fuck around. The days when they were small to the world but big about their dreams. He wished it were like this everyday.

As Yoongi's eyes were glued to the television and the odd infomercial playing, he felt a dip in the couch. Jungkook had sat down next to him.

"Hey, kid, what's up?"

"Not much, missed you a lot though,"

"God, come 'ere," Yoongi swings his arm around Jungkook's shoulder nuzzling into his neck. "You've gotten tall," Jungkook hums in acknowledgement.

"Maybe you just shrunk,"

"Hey, respect your elders," Yoongi scolded playfully.

And before a fight could break out, they were both drawn to the the dining table as Jin set down the meals.

The meal expectantly went by quick. They reminisced then argued about who was going to get that one piece of the food that was unfortunately a favourite between all of them.

Just like the good old days.

Jungkook had changed in a physical way. That, of course, should be obvious to anybody. But it was something about the air around him that hadn't changed. Or at least, Yoongi couldn't feel it. Yoongi felt at home when he was with Jungkook, like he always had. He felt safe and secure and all-around happier around the kid.
