"Good movie huh?"

"Yeah, sure Nick." Maddie said.

"It wasn't that bad, Maddie." I protested cause honestly I kind if liked it. "We should get a bat mobile like Batman."

"Yeah, then maybe it'll blow up too." Maddie teased.

"You never know."

"Well you still have an hour till you have to go home. What do you want to do?"

"I don't know. As long as its not boring I'm in."

"I don't have any ideas. Do you, Nick?"

"No. In out."

"Well, it looks like we have exactly nothing to do. We could walk home, unseats of taking the bus, it'll take longer."

"Whatever." Nick and I said in unison.

We are about half a mile away from the movies when my phone starts ringing. It's from home.

"Hello?"

"Avery, you got to come home." My sister said weirdly.

"Why?"

"There's some boy that's sitting here waiting for you. I told him you won't be home for a while but he said he'll wait."

"Um... Ok. I'll be there in about ten."

"K. Bye" then she hung up.

"I have to get home guys."

"Ok, I'll text you later, Avery."

"Ok. Bye guys."

Then I took off sprinting. This is where my travel coach's sprints come into action. I've always loved sprinting and been good at it. Thank God cause they come in handy.

My house is only like one block from where we were from so it didn't take too long. But when I reached the corner our block I was out of breath so I stopped and caught my breath. When I was slightly just breathing hard I started down the street and when I reach my house I braced myself for who it was.

"Goddamned Lewis."

"I just wanted to know why you broke up with me."

Broke up? We were dating? I guess we were.

"It wouldn't of worked out." I puffed out.

"We could of made it worked, I know we could of."

"No we couldn't of."

"Why not?"

"Cause it wasn't meant to. We just weren't suppose to be together like that."

"We could worked it out."

"No. We can't. Lewis I think you should go."

"Avery, I just... Ok. I guess I'll talk to you later." And he stalked off. To be honest he actually looked really sad. I thought Lewis would be the last person to look sad over a girl.

"Who was that and what did he want?" My sister asked.

"Someone from school and nothing."

"Whatever." And she left. I just stood there for a while till I started to get hot and went inside to cool off.

I think I'm done with boys now. They are to difficult. Then I remembered Lance's offer, about if I ever need help. So I walked over and knocked on his door and he answered.

"Hey Avery, everything ok?"
