7 years later
"You may kiss the bride." and as soon as the Priest said that, Lance grabbed me and pulled me in for a kiss.
This day could not get any better. Maddie was my Bride's maid, Ivan was the ring barrier and Nick as Lance's Best Man. I never thought that Lance, my best friend, the guy next door, and now my husband, would be my mate. He's the person that I would live forever with.
"Mozel Tov!!" Maddie shouted.
"Shhhh... We are not Jewish." I practically shouted.
"Don't ruin the moment, LET'S CELEBRATE!"
"That's fine with me!" Lance says while taking my hand over to the dance floor. We had our wedding out doors and the day could not be more perfect. It was 70 degrees with a nice breeze and everything. Not to mention it was right next to a beautiful lake.
Everyone starts to join in and we dance forever. Or at least till my feet hurt. Which probably wasn't long at all, but whatever cause this was the best day of my life and I'm enjoying it.
"So when are we telling everyone?" Lance asked.
"Oh, I almost forgot. Lets due it now." I say as I make my way to the front.
" Hello everyone. I hope everyone is enjoying themselves. I'm here talking because I would like to tell everyone Lance and I are having a kid! We are so excited and would like to tell you our god parent will be. Maddie and Nick. You two will be his or her God Parents. It was tough to choose and please don't get a fended or anything, please. But thank you for you time." and I set down the microphone and start to walk back to my seat. There was a light applause and many people came up to me and congratulated me.
"I'M GOING TO BE THE THE GODMOTHER! NO WAY! I'm going to be like Cinderella's Godmother!" Maddie said coming up to me.
"You would think that a 23 year old would not act so much like a 14 year old." I say with a laugh.
"I can't help myself. This is me."
"And that's why you and Ivan are the perfect couple." I say with the biggest grin and it was the truth. They really deserve to be together and I approve, you know once I got past the ex part and everything, but they are perfect.
"Thank you."
"You welcome. So where is he anyway?"
"Probably being intimidated by Nick. Our wedding is in four days and he's making sure Ivan won't back out."
"Oh."
"Well I'll leave you two alone and try to find Ivan. Wish me luck."
"GOODLUCK!" I should and then laugh.
This day could not get better.

8 and a half months later
"What's his name?" The nurse asks me so she can give it to the doctor.
"Austin Lee Johnson." I say with the biggest smile.
"That's a beautiful name and would you like to bring in your family from the waiting room?"
"Please." and with that she was gone and Maddie, Ivan, Nick, and Lance came in. I handed Austin to Lance and he just stared in awe.
"He's beautiful."
"I know, he looks just like you." and he thanked me for my compliment with a smile.
"Can I hold him!? Can I hold him!?" Maddie says jumping up and down.
"You shouldn't be jumping up and down, it might hurt the baby." Ivan pipes in.
"You can hold the baby only if Ivan helps you." I say with a smile.
"Fine." She says with a pouty face.
"Are you feeling ok?" Lance asks me.
"Yeah, I feel perfectly fine."
"Ok good."
"You know what?"
"What?" He asks grabbing my hand.
"Who knew it would end up like this?"
"End like what?"
"You and I. Maddie and Ivan. Austin."
"I did."
"Really?"
"Because I could feel something between you and me when we met."
"You did?"
"Yes, I did."
"I'm tired. I'm going to take a nap."
"Ok. sweet dreams. Love you."
"Love you too."
"Who knew...."
