This is based off of a headcanon that I read

WEEEEEOOOOOO WEEEEEOOOOO (I don't know alarm sounds)

"Paladins, come down quickly. We have been sent a video from the galra!"

Ugh, I thought as I got out of bed, how fantastic! 

I quickly got out of bed, rinsed my face with water to get me more awake, and threw on my armor.

I ran to the control room to be met with all of the other paladins.

"Took you long enough..." I heard someone say under their breath, Keith I think.

"Okay paladins, since you are all finally awake, I can show you this video that was sent to us this morning."

We all looked at the screen, where commander Iverson was tied up in a dark room with a galran general next to him.

"Hello Paladins, I have found your precious commander that taught you back on earth. You must have a strong bond..."

I laughed at that, earning a glare from Shiro.

"So that is why I have taken him captive. If you want him back you must bring me your lions. I have sent you coordinates to a deserted planet, bring the lions there. We'll be close by."

The screen went black and disappeared.

"We must save him, paladins, go to your lions!" Allura commanded.

We all ran to our lions, and then flew out to the coordinates that we were told.

Why do we even have to save him? I thought.

"Because we save everyone, no matter who they are. Unless they are on the side of the galra."

I didn't realize that I had said that out loud.

Empty, awkward silence followed after until finally Allura's voice rang though and broke the silence.

"Paladins, don't just sit in silence, come up with a plan!" 

"Okay team, any ideas?" asked Shiro.

"Oh-" I began, only to be interrupted by Pidge.

"I have an idea!" She said.

"Oh great! What is it?" asked Shiro.

My face dropped.

"Well I haven't told you yet but I have been upgrading my invisibility and Ii have been trying to add it to all of your lions, so while two lions go to the deserted planet and distract the ship, 3 lions can look for the ship and retrieve Iverson!" 

"Great idea, Pidge!" Hunk said.

"Yeah! So who's going to distract and who's gonna attack?" I asked.

"How about you and Hunk distract and the rest attack."

"Sounds good!" Hunk said.

"Yeah! Okay!" Pidge also said.

Everyone sounded happy about it, but I wasn't.

Why am I always the distraction? I guess I just can't fight as well as everyone else, or hack into computers like Pidge.

Hunk is better than me, so maybe he's supposed to protect us if anything happens.

We continued to discuss the rest of the plan, Pidge and Keith will sneak in while Shiro keeps watch. Hunk and I will talk with the galran general and try and stall.
