Emma had a normal enough morning routine that she usually stuck to , it was stuck in her brain and she never really realised it was a routine until Regina mentioned it ...Regina , a girl Emma didn't expect to be friends with but got along with amazingly and she would lie if she said she wasn't extremely beautiful but Emma wasn't supposed to think those things about girls ...it was the way it's supposed to be so emma would shake those morning thoughts away then call Ruby , her bestfriend and talk about their outfits and other stuff before getting in the shower , getting dressed , eating a banana , meeting Ruby at the corner and driving to school .
Emma walked down the stairs and I to the kitchen where her family were . Her mother handed her a banana and hugged her good morning , her father high fived her "have a good day Em " he said before walking out to his truck to go to work at the police station and her little brother , Neal who was now nine and his sister's biggest fan "your playing tonight right em ?" He asked eating his cereal "yes, kid I'm playing tonight" Emma laughed before kissing her brothers forehead and walking out the door .
Ruby jumped into the car " about time bitch " she said strapping herself in "yea well there was traffic " Emma defended making Ruby look at her with that 're you shitting me ' look "from around the corner ?" She asked not believing Emma making the blonde laugh " your an idiot " she continued .
They pulled up to the school and got out "so big game tonight , there's scouts " Ruby said smiling " I know ..dont sketch me out Rubes " She shook her head and laughed "whatever let's go meet up with everyone " Emma sighed . They walked to their lockers and seen Belle and Neal walk over to them "hey" they said smiling " hey guys , what's up ?" Emma asked smiling back " well well look who we have here " a voice from behind Emma said " well hello sir I didn't know we were in the 1600s" Emma teased making August roll his eyes " whatever ems , you all coming to the match tonight ?" He asked " of course " Belle said "can't, dad has me meeting some of his college friends from Harvard " Neal sighed " oh come on Cassidy this is a big game ..its state championships " Mulan said walking up behind them "yes and we have to be there to cheer on our friends .." Regina said showing up beside Emma who cleared her throat " I have to go " she said walking away " what's wrong with her ?" Mulan asked " I think I sketched her out " Ruby sighed "fuck sake Ruby you know how she gets " Mulan scolded " I'll talk to her " Regina said running after her friend.
Emma pov
I walked away from everyone because they were making me nervous about tonight so I had to walk away. I was just outside the cafeteria when I could hear Regina call I g after me but I kept walking until she grabbed my shoulder and swung me around " swan i-" she was cut off by Mal who walked up to Regina " hey Gina , are we still on for our date tonight after the game ?" Mal batted her eyes at Regina which made me roll my eyes .Regina can do better than Mal ..shes so two faced "yea su-sure mal " Regina replied looking from me to her. I k ew mal wasn't going to let her leave so I did and went to my first class ..i was in a mood until lunch when I seen all my friends laughing and I felt better .
" hey guys " I said sitting down beside Ruby and Auguts and in front of Regina " are you okay ?" Regina asked "why wouldn't I be ?" I retorted a bit too harshly " o-Okay " Regina said turning back to her salad " so plan ..are we getting smashed after this match or what ?" " Kay" I answered paying attention to my food , I could hear Regina sigh frustrated but I am annoyed with her and I don't know why ..well I do ..its because I like her and she likes mal .
When Band came around I was dreading it because I was seated beside Regina but so thankful I was playing piano today " okay Emma , Regina go " out teacher Ingrid asked us and we started playing , Regina plays violin and August plays drums. It was a noisy class to say the least and I had a headache .
