i like to sit in a parking lot by the lake
in my car with all the windows down
playing my favorite song at the moment
and turning it on repeat
watching the water
even though the reflection of the sun burns my eyes
and i peacefully sigh
as the breeze makes my hair dance
although it's a little hot for my liking
i find peace in these moments
