All I did was scream and scream until the black figure stepped into the moonlight that was streaming into my room.
"Ethan." I said confused. I rubbed my eyes trying to make sure that I wasn't just dreaming. "Is this a dream?" I asked.
"No." His handsome voice answered. He sounded almost insecure and nervous but also something powerful and controlling.
"So you are really here, standing in my room late at night?" I asked. I pulled myself up more in bed and pulled the covers around me as a cold breeze danced across my skin.
"Yes." He replied simply.
"Why?" I asked confused the weird scene unfolding in my room.
"How was your date?" Ethan asked pacing the room so much venom leaking into his voice.
"What is it too you?" I asked confused at his sudden interest.
"Everything you do concerns me Zoey." Ethan said angered.
"That makes no sense Ethan, we aren't dating, we aren't even friends." I stated.
Without anymore words Ethan closed the gap between us and crash his lips harshly to mine in a display of heated passion that was as if he was answering my statement. His lips moved hungrily against mine as he pulled my face harder against him as if he was trying to make us one. I felt his desire, need and want for me which confused me but all my thoughts had shattered when his tongue ran lightly over my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I grated it willingly as Ethan instantly explore the new area, pulling me impossibly closer with his strong arms. The kiss ended far too quickly as Ethan pulled back and rested his forehead against mine lightly, his eyes stilled closed as we both tried to regain out breath.
"I don't want to fight this anymore Zoey but I have too." He whispered before stepping back and leaping out my two storey window. I quickly ran to the window and watched his land lightly on his feet and run into the forest unharmed. The confusion rose in me as I tried to reason what had just happened, I feel helpless onto my bed realising a heavy sigh at my life.
Ethan.
I ran all the way home trying to burn out the sensation Zoey left on my skin, the heat that her touch coursed through me. When I arrived home I quickly unlocked the back door and walked into the kitchen quickly turning on a light, the soft click of the door closing sounded like a gun shot in the still and quiet house.
"How is Zoey?" I jumped at the sound of my father's voice. My dad was sitting in the dark corner in the living room with a knowing smile across his lips. I tired to cover my surprise before answering in a way which I knew he would be able to tell I'm lying.
"How would I know? I was just out running."
"Fully clothed?" he asked as he stood up and walked over to me so his face was dimly lit by the kitchen light.
"I was running in human form Dad, it would of been weird of be to run naked out of wolf form." I replied.
"Right, well when you want to admit that you are falling for your mate let me know." My father said placing his hand lightly on my shoulder with a laugh before walking up the stairs.
"I'm not falling for her." I whispered to myself. "I have already fallen." With that realisation I slowly walked to my room and climbed into bed before trying to get some sleep.
Zoey.
After last night I was determined to speak to Ethan about the events of last night, I was completely confused at his sudden out burst of possessive behaviour and throw by his actions. I walked into school and made my way straight to his locker unable to deny the feeling building in my at the thoughts of seeing him again. Unfortunately I had no luck finding him there, near the football fields or anywhere else only adding to my frustration. I made my way back to the parking lot to try and find Angie in hopes she might know where her brother is only to stunned by the scene occurring in the parking lot. I watched as Ethan lent against his car holding some other women in his arms as he looked disinterested in whatever she was saying, I tried not to let his actions hurt me but something deep within me made his actions so much worst. I quickly looked away before he saw me staring and made my way into towards the front doors of the school.
