Anzu bustled around the room, shoving books and whatever she may need for the day in her pastel pink school bag. It started as any other ordinary day as a 15 year old highschooler, showering, getting dressed, have breakfast and head off for school. Filling her bag with the last thing she needed, she stopped by one of the posters in her room.
A poster of her favorite idol, Seth Kaiba. A rich kid with the voice of an angel. Famous for JRock and Kpop. She swooned feeling lovestruck all over again.
'Ah, The day I get to meet you is the day pigs fly...'
Leaving her beloved picture, she heeled downstairs, stopping just by the end holding onto the railing, bang hanging off her shoulder.
"Mom, I'm about to leave!"
Anzu's mother barely looked up at her as she was examining an odd circular item along with Solomon motou. She was used to this, since her mother was an archeologist.
"What did you find?"
"Take a look."
The woman held up the dazziling broach covered in dust, so her daughter could take a good look. The item shimmered in showing off a small rainbow in the artifical light. And in that brief moment, Anzu could feel some strange energy emitting from it.
"It's pretty but kinda creepy."
"You think so? If you think that's creepy then have a look at this broken thing here." she held a golden item up, half of it seemed to be old a bent, while the other part looked as if it was crumbling. Solomon looked at Mrs.Mazaki with worry.
"Dont hold that so close to your face, it's dangerous...You know from the stories I've heard, Long ago, In Egypt there was a mighty kingdom ruled by a beautiful, fierce and undefeatable queen who ruled the land with one of the most powerful enchanted items Egpyt owned, an item made of full gold named The Millennium Rod. This rod had the ultimate power that every spellcaster, monster, beast or human would ever want. It could grant disires, grant you protection, just about almost anything. As much as everyone would want it for their own selfish needs, it was protected and sealed away deep a tomb held inside the castle no commoner was allowed to go. People would always try to infultrate the castle but it would no use, No one knew where the tomb was and its where abouts but the queen and her followers within the castle. that was said, whoever were to wield it. said to have been born under the protection of several divine entities...er and I think these here, are two of those items!"
"Well I hope Is." Anzu's mother said looking down at the two items.
Anzu soon began to lose interest, this wasn't the first time she was told rubbish stories like that, she even had to wonder why her mother even believed in those. She opened the door, beginning her stroll to school.
