Seoul, South Korea
~
Y/n followed the posse of young men with Ty leading out of the dining hall, through several corridors laden with artifacts, and finally into a hallway through a door that labeled in Korean and English as: Operative Offices.
Through the windows in the walls the early morning skyline of Seoul was all around them. It was still so surreal that she wasn't at home, but in this place. y/n still felt like some part of this whole experience had to fake. It had to be.
The walls were no longer the color of marble, but a deep mahogany color of wood paneling along the walls. Large windows were present, but a darkness remained that was accompanied by dim lamps aligning the walls.
There were doors all along the hall, all had strange names of what y/n assumed were other operative groups.
Suddenly, Ty stopped and looked at her wrist, there was slight glowing from a device y/n couldn't see.
"Well gentlemen, and lady, I have to leave you here. I'm sure you know what to do RM?"
She said to the leader.
He nodded.
"Great, I will be seeing you again Ms. l/n. I wish you good luck." turning to y/n and nodding her head in politeness.
When she left, Kookie let out a deep breath and slouched a bit. He mumbled something in Korean to V standing to his left that made both of them chuckle.
Damn English, y/n thought to herself in mild frustration.
They entered into a large door labeled WRAITHS. The offices' size was the first thing to shock y/n. It was huge, like everything in this building, yet it still made her gasp.
"Wow," she said, and J-Hope chuckled next to her.
The "office" had two floors of space. In the base was a living room area, assorted with a large circular table with multiple chairs. There were books and maps scattered all around the table. Some on the floor.
Three couches, all made of leather. They looked expensive, as did everything else in the space. On a far side of the "living room" area was a monsterous flat screen TV. The screen saver was of different locations around the world faded in and out of the screen.
There was a small kitchen in the corner, and another large eclipcial couch that sat in front of the wall length windows on the far end of the hall; there were shelves and shelves of artifacts and books. A small coffee table sat in front of the windows as well, dwarfed by the expanse of everything around it.
Poor coffee table.
Looking up, y/n saw the a stairway led to the upper floor, a balcony ran around the entire space, an open hallway. She could see about five doors allgining the shadowed balcony.
The members quickly filtered about, some made their way upstairs, some lounged on the couches and pulled up books or observed maps.
Rm was the only one left standing next to y/n.
"This is what you call an "office"?" y/n asked RM.
He smiled a closed lipped smile and and chuckled, "Yes, in a sort of way. It's like our own headquarters within. Each part of this space has a purpose for our job. For example ...," and he paused his speech and made his way over to the circular table cluttered with papers. " this is where we come together and discuss missions. As you can see, this is all out info and research about the Paradox Artifacts. We started researching late last night."
