When they get there, Baby!Groot has already defeated everybody and is just waiting for the rest to pick him up

"Hey Quill, have you seen Groot? I can't find him anywhere."

Rocket stands besides Peter, who is currently flying the spaceship.

"Oh, I don't know trashpanda. I have been flying this thing for over twenty hours now, because you were to lazy for it."

"I wasn't lazy, I was busy! And if it was such a big problem for you, why didn't you ask big dummy or Gamora?"

"Hey!" Drax, who had sneaked up behind rocket to scare him, just came in time to hear him speak. "Who is this big dummy you speak of? I would like to laugh at him for being a dummy."

"Not now, Drax. We lost Groot." Quill was about to interrupt rocket by saying that he, the great Peter Quill, didn't lost Groot and that is was all rocket's fault, when Drax started to act really nervous.

"Drax, do you know where Groot is?"

Drax looks around anxiously. "I do not know a creature named Groot."

Quill facepalmed and rocket let out a huge sigh. "Were is Groot, Drax."

At that moment, Gamora came into the cockpit. "Guys, I just saw a spaceship dangerously close to ours. Did they steal something?" It was quiet. Everyone looked at Drax.

"...what?"

"O come on Drax, did they take Groot yes or no?"

"Yes. I saw somebody take Groot, but I really needed to take a shit so I did that instead of rescuing him."

Nobody could believe their ears. "You did WHAT?" It was clear that they needed to save Groot.

"Gamora, which way did the spaceship leave?"

"Right."

"Well, lets do this!"

The guardians made their way to the room where they knew Groot was kept. "Okay guardians, this is going to be serious, so we have to put on our mean faces." Everybody stood quiet and slowly turned to Peter. "...what?"

They kicked in the door, and they didn't find what they were expecting.

They had prepared to fight a huge army, but in reality, they didn't have to fight anyone.

Groot stood happily between lots and lots of unconscious people. "I am Groot"

Peter smiled and said "we tought him well."
