Felix wasn't able to pay attention in school today. If he's honest, he wasn't able to pay attention in school for a whole week. It's been two weeks since he went to the Avenger compound with his science class and was bitten by a spider, which gave him superpowers.

He had worked hard on a suit and webshooters. Only half of the formula was on display at the Spider-Man section, but Felix was a smart boy and figured the other half out by himself. It was probably different from the real ones Spider-Man uses, but they work.

And now, the night Felix was so excited about, had finally arrived. His suit is ready (he used gold and black instead of red and blue), the webshooters are ready and Felix himself was ready.

It is a really beautiful night. The moon shines high and bright, the stars glitter like little diamonds in the sky and there's no cloud in sight. Also, the temperature is great.

Like the first Spider-Man suit that Felix saw at the compound, his suit looked a bit shitty, but nonetheless he was proud of it.

With his spider like abilities, he climbed a tall building in the centrum of Queens. The higher he got, the colder and more windier it got. It took al his power to not look down yet.

And now, the moment he had waited for, is here.

He stands on one of the tallest buildings in Queens.

His webshooters ready.

He is ready.

Jump.

Jump now.

What are you waiting for?

Jump!

Felix trembles a bit at the end of the roof, and lets himself fall.

The wind that rushes against his suit and skin is amazing. The G-force that flows trough his body feels addictive. The gravity pulling him back to the ground is so intense and incredibly strong.

Felix has never felt more alive.

But it came to an end painfully fast.

At the moment Felix wanted to shoot his webs to the next building, something collapsed into him. He lost his balance immediately and began to spin in the air, setting his mind to panic-mode instantly. He started to hyperventilate. He forgot what was up and what was down. He closed his eyes, waiting for the end.

Then, someone caught him.

He didn't spin no more.

He wasn't going to die no more.

Not today.

When the Felix and the unknown safer finally set foot to the ground, Felix turned around to look at his safer's face. Except, there was not really a face to look at. Felix looked at
Spider-Man's mask. O my god. It's Spider-Man. Felix couldn't believe his eyes. It's Spider-Man, his crush. Felix took of his mask and smiled.

"What on earth were you thinking!"

Felix his smile dropped immediately. This was not really how Felix had planned his first meeting with his idol. He lost all words.

"...w-what?"

"Seriously, kid! What were you thinking! You could have died!"

Spider-Man really looked out of his mind. Felix took a few steps backwards.

"You think you can just put on some wack onesie and jump from a fricking tall building and just be like 'abracadabra I'm Spider-Man now'? That is not how this works kid!"

Felix wasn't gonna lie, he felt like crying when Spider-Man roasted his ass like that.

"It isn't like that, man. I have powers too!"

Felix felt serious anger boiling in his blood, now that his survival instinct turned themselves off.

"In fact, you ruined my first try. You ruined my first try, Spider-Man!"

He was gonna show Spider-Man that he has powers too. He was gonna show him.

Felix shoots two webs to the building he just climbed.

"See! I'm just like you!"

Spider-Man relaxed a bit and began to talk with a relaxed voice, which was nearly an octave higher that the voice he just used.

"Alright kid, chill."

"Chill?! You just roasted my ass and now you're telling me to-"

"Chill down. I'm serious man. Look, sorry. I just... this week only I had to save three children who thought they were Spider-Man. I can tell you're a lot older that they are, so seeing you jump just broke something in here." He knocked on his head. "Got it?"

What?

Little children thinking they're Spider-Man jumping off buildings? "Shit man, I didn't knew that. Shit."

"It's okay. Really. Say, you sound like a nice guy and I know you're smart. Not everybody can figure out the formula for the webs. So, what do you say about getting coffee sometime soon and talk things over. I could really use a fellow crime fighting spider."

Did Spider-Man, his crush, really asked him to become his fucking superhero friend?

Hell. fucking. yes.

"So, it's a date?" Felix asked jokingly.

Spider-Man looked up and down, obviously taking in the features of Felix's face. "Thank god you take it that way, I was to scared to really ask you."

Silence.

No. Fucking. Way.

"Of course it's a date, spider."

Spider-Man took of his mask, just above his nose to reveal his treasure grin. "Great. Here's my number."

He gave Felix a stroke of white paper with a little spider at the bottom. His number was neatly written.

"Thanks. I'll call you!"

"You better will! Now, put on your mask. Not the best idea to show your face to anyone. What is your name anyway?"

"Felix. Felix Miller."

Spider-Man took Felix's hand and shook it. Then he whispered: "Peter. Peter Parker. See you around, golden spider."
