T's POV

It was fun having Teddy over again, I missed having friends. My mom said I can't get too close to anyone. If I do they'll get hurt because of the constant traveling and casualties. I think it was alright telling him about Sam, not like anything would happen between us any time soon. I really have to stop thinking about him so much, it's throwing me off my game. Hell, it's 8 am and I'm still thinking about him. I don't even wake up till noon most days. God I'm a mess, what is this boy doing to me.

"T? Are you okay?" Alan quietly knocked on my door.

"Yeah, of course. Why wouldn't I be?" I asked.

"You were kind of talking to yourself for a good ten minutes" He said confused.

"Shit, did you hear what I was talking about?" I replied quickly. My eyes widened so much I could've sworn they were gonna rip out of its sockets.

"Everything." He smiled and walked over to me. "Don't tell him I told you this but he told me that he has a thing for you too."

He got up and quickly walked out of the door without saying another word. How did he know? Would he tell him that I like him? Fucking hell, why are crushes so complicated.

_________Later __________

"What are we doing?" I asked the boys as we lounged around the living room.

"We have a day off." Alan paused "Me and Edgar are gonna drive down to the grocery store, were also running uh, other errands so we probably won't be back for a while. See you kids later."

They left and I was left alone with Sam, oh god. I just have to keep my cool for a few hours, they be back soon. Calm down, T. Get yourself together.

"Who's there?" Sam yelled from the kitchen.

The loud banging noise registered in my ears and a voice answered. " It's Gordie... Gordie Lechance."

I got up and walked over to the door. "What's your business here?" I asked, slightly relieved that there was another person here other than us.

"Something went wrong when I was walking home. Oh god I may have waited too long, please open the door." He shook.

I opened the door and he shuffled inside. He was shaking like a chihuahua, you could physically feel the nervousness radiating off of him.

"Gordo, what's wrong?" I asked.

Sam walked over, just as confused as I was. "Yeah, kid what's wrong?"

"When I was walking home with Chris we decided to camp out because my parents were, were fighting. And when we started walking out to our camping site... S-s-something grabbed him." He slurred. "I think it was the same ones that took Vern too."

"Fuck- wow." Was all I could say, I couldn't think of anything comforting. "Wait, what did you do after? Did they go after you? How did you escape?"

"No, Chris was the one holding the lantern. They didn't go after me. After they took him, I was so scared I couldn't move so I slept right there in the woods. I feel like a coward, I didn't do anything again and Chris got taken, just like Vern."

"Hey, don't sweat it man. This isn't your fault. When we gut Dav- Ace, most of this will be over." Sam said in a hushed tone.

"God I hope so." He said back. "Do you mind if I stay here? I don't got no where to go, I'm not safe at home."

"Yeah, okay. You can stay for the day but I don't know what my cousins have to say about it. I'll talk to them when they come back." I warned him and decided to give him a small tour of the house. "If you're gonna stay here then I'll show you around."

He nodded and followed me around the living room, to the kitchen. "This is the kitchen, help yourself to food and whatever." After, we made our way upstairs and I named the rooms as we passed them. "This is the guest room, where Sam is staying. Here's the second guest room where ,I guess if my cousins let you, where you'll be staying. To your right is the bathroom. The red door is my room. The door at the end of the Hall is my mother's room. Never enter that room, got it?" He nodded and I continued. "Finally, my brother's old room, where the Frogs are staying. If you haven't caught on those are my cousins. And that marks the end of this magnificent tour."

He nodded a few more times and thanked me. From then on I walked downstairs and switched on the Television. Sam and Gordie sat down on either side of me and together we started watching Family Ties, I love Michael J Fox.

"Do you think they'll let me stay?" Gordie interrupted.

"Honestly... In any other case no, but this has to do with vampires so I'd say you have a 60% chance of the letting you stay here." I guessed.

"Very mathematical, T" Sam joked.

I blushed and smiled at him. "I try."

"Hey, Tianna." Gordie chimed in again. "Thanks."

"For what?" I asked.

"Everything, I guess." He smiled an unsure smile and continued to watch the comedy that aired on the television.
