Chris's POV
"Chris I'm so sorry." Feds cried softly while we were alone. She explained everything she went through to get to her position of power and how terrible Ace was to her, to everyone. "I'm so so so so so so so sorry."
"Why, why do you do it." I asked. "Why do you even stay."
"I would if I could." She replied. "I've been trapped here for centuries. They need me, they need my abilities. They would never let me go."
"Have you ever tried running?" I said, looking for a sliver of hope, slightly ignoring the centuries part.
"Once..." She sighed. "I was stuck in the dungeon for few months."
"A month!?" I screamed painfully. Just thinking of her in suffering made my heart sink down in my chest.
"Think about it Chris. I'm a vampire, a week out of my entire life is equivalent to a day." Her eyes fell to the ground in shame as she explained. "I lied to you when I said how old it was. I thought it would scare you away, I tell everyone That, it's just. I don't know why..."
"Feds, Feds it's alright." I soothed her. "I wouldn't blame you for lying. Living in this shit hole is torture enough. Go on if you want"
"When you were lying there on the floor when I first saw you, you were shaking and mumbling incoherent words. I was scared to scare you more than you already were." Feds took a deep breath, hesitating but continued on none-the-less. "I hate saying this. I'm 623 years old."
I just nodded and hugged her while tears slipped out of her eyes. All that I could do was make sure she felt safe and believed. I wanted to give her what I wanted when I cried my heart out to someone. I wanted her to trust me.
"I lied too Feds." I smirked. "I'm not 15 years old."
She looked up at me, confused.
"I'm 15... and a half."
She laughed through her tears and jokingly hit me as she released herself from the hug.
"How do you manage to do that, huh?" She asked.
"Do what?" I smiled.
"Make me laugh no matter where we are. Even if I was just crying a few seconds ago" Feds explained.
"Maybe that's my secret vampire ability." I laughed. "Secret." I repeated. "Shit, where are my friends Feds?"
"Most likely in the safe room by the dungeon downstairs. That's were everyone else is" She quickly scrambled.
"Okay lead me ther-" I started.
"WAAAAARRRRRR!!!!" I heard two familliar voices scream.
"Teddy? Gordie?" I called out.
"CHriS?" Teddy yelled as he jogged up to me. "WE SAVED YOU YESS!"
"Let, let's get out of here." Gordie requested, feeling uneasy from his surroundings.
"We can't." I sighed. "The Frogs, T, and Sam aren't safe."
"Who's that chick." The short crippled boy whispered. "Because dibs."
"Teddy, shut up for a second. Guys meet Feds. Feds, meet Gordie and Teddy." I quickly blurted while shaking his head. "Okay never mind that we need a plan to save them and ourselves."
"I think I have an idea." Feds smiled. "Okay so there's this net that we hold down there for when we play flying games, they're kinda like vampire Olympics, and if you catch Ace when he isn't expecting it he'll be shocked for a few minutes and by then one of you would be able to stake him."
"We? How do you know so much?" Gordie asked.
"Long story short I'm a 623 year old vampire. Come on your friends don't have a lot of time." She rambled.
"Go!" I yelled at the dumbfounded boys standing in front of me.
"Okay when we get down stairs you two will have to hide in the overhead walk ways. It's a series of walkways that hang above the entire safe house, they were put there to- Nevermind that. You'll have to find the red rope and when I scream the words 'You fucking shit' at Chris find a way to cut through it." Feds commanded.
"How do we get there?" Teddy asked.
"Down the trap door in the corner of the room." She pointed. "Go now. Chris, come here and smear some of the blood and dirt on yourself. Act like you're a prisoner. I'll tell you what to do later.
