Teddy's POV

My eyes fluttered open slightly but the light was blinding me, I couldn't anything except silhouettes.

"He's waking up, guys" I heard a voice whisper.

"What?" I whispered, trying to sit up.

"No, don't do that. You need to rest." Another said.

"What happened?" I asked.

"You collapsed on my door step?" The first voice said.

"Oh..." I said as the memories of last night flooded back to me.

"Do you mind telling us what happened?" A third voice said quietly.

"Oh uh, the vampires they-they came in and tried to- get me, but I got away. I ran through some, a few backyards to get here. It was weird. They called me Edgar." I trailed on.

"How'd you get all beat up?" They asked.

"That, that. That was my dad." I sighed.

"Oh..." Someone trailed on.

"Not again, teddy." I think Gordie asked

"This usually doesn't happen, Gordo." I replied.

"You should relax, Teddy." Sam exhaled. "Try to heal up."

"Alright." I whispered.

My eyes slowly closed and my sore body relaxed onto the foreign bed. The presences around me had gone but my mind was restless and I couldn't fall asleep.

Gordie's POV

It was really sad, but I was used to seeing Teddy like this. It's been like three years and he was in this condition at least once a month. We've tried to help him so many times but he has too much respect for his bastard dad. I never understood that. I hate my parents, I don't understand how he could love his so much. Well, I guess our main problem here is the Vampires. They can kill us, his parents don't do shit.

Well, they want Edgar. I don't know what we're gonna do about that, he's gone. What if they come here? I guess we could deal with his parents later. They called him Edgar, I knew he looked like Edgar. Even Chris thought that. That was dangerous, but maybe it could be a good thing. We could dress him up as Edgar, like a decoy, and the real Edgar could do the real work. I don't know, maybe I'm just crazy.
