Alan's POV

This plan was not heading in the right direction. We've been here for hours, trapped twice, we've lost Ace for the 100th time in two god damned years. And not even to mention I'm starving. Never Mind, that doesn't matter. What matters is killing that son of a bitch, Ace.

"EDGAR, ALAN!" A voice echoed in the hall.

"Sam?" Eddie called back.

"Guys, I found T and Chris but they're dealing with something right now." He rushed to say. "Something about him being a Vampire... But they safe, let's go."

We turned a couple corners and headed into two large doors that led into the giant room that the Vamps were in when we arrived.

"Sam! Alan! Edgar!" Chris smiled and jumped up to see them. "It's good to see all of you again."

"That's not what I heard you say when you wanted to be a Vampire..." T mumbled under her breath.

Chris's eyes dropped and a look of pure shame shadowed over his soft features.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Edgar questioned.

"Nevermind." T sighed, "let's get back to the mission."

She got up and hastily moved back toward the entrance to which we came from. We all followed, confused and almost scared but we went on nonetheless.

"We know where they're hiding." Edgar said to break the harsh silence. "We cracked one of the new recruits."

Chris groaned from the back of his throat, catching all of our attention.

"What's wrong Chris?" I whispered, not wanting to make a scene.

"I'll tell you once this is over." He sighed, avoiding the topic.

"Come on, don't bullshit me." I threatened.

"Who was it. Did they have a name?" He pressed.

"Max, I think his name was Max." I hesitantly replied, remembering him crying his name when we asked him.

His closed quickly and a grimace took over. "If that's the Max I think you're talking about, he was an innocent kid. Like, like Gordie or Vern"

"Look, Chris, I'm sorry." I soothed him. "But you should know better and anyone else that people never get what they deserve. We just want to get Ace and put him away for what he's done. Let me tell you a little secret, Max isn't dead.

The spark returned to Chris's eyes and he smiled. "Thank Alan. I just don't want anyone else to get hurt that doesn't have to."

"We can't save everyone, just remember that." I whispered back.

He solemnly smiled and nodded his head in agreement. "We're falling behind, let's catch up."

"Alan" Edgar called as we caught up with the rest of the group. "I think we took a wrong turn."

"Au contraire. I think you've found exactly what you've come here for. It's nice to see you again" An unfamiliar voice struck. "Oh how rude of my not to introduce my trustee right hand woman. Everyone, meet Feds."

"Ace" Edgar whispered under his breath.

"You, move out of the way." The girl named Feds commanded Sam. "Chris?"

"I, I, I, I, can explain." He shook. "When-"

"I thought you were one of us." She interrupted him. "You almost gained my trust, you know you were special. No one learns how to control their little halfie powers like you."

"Chris." Sam asked. "How in hell do you know her."

"She's my-" he started.

"I was his trainer." She finished. "Maybe after this, I could train you."

"Hey old lady, back off none of us are gonna become like you fucking parasites." T attacked.

"I know that voice." Ace muttered. "You were that little bitch that defended that little cripple kid."

"Damn straight." T retorted boldly.

"What are we gonna do, Eddie. What's the plan" I whispered to him.

"Just wait." He said. "I'm coming up with it now."

"And what are you two whispering about." Feds came up to us, too close for comfort. "Why are you so tense."

She ran her hand over my shoulder and I automatically fell to my knees. She did the same to Edgar and to Sam but not T or Chris.

"What, what the fuck is going on." T said, panicked.

"It's my super power. God I love being a vampire." Feds laughed.

"You." Feds said to me. "Tell me you love me."

I don't know what happened but my mouth was trying to move and I couldn't stop it. My faves turned red with frustration as I just let it happen.

"I..." I held my breath. "Love. You."

I was shaking and out of breath by the time she let me go. I collapsed onto my hands and tried to catch my breath.

"Enough fun, Feds. I think it's time to take our guests to their rooms." He smiled wickedly. "Boys, take them."

"no No NO NO NO." Edgar infuriatingly screamed. "THIS ISN'T HOW ITS SUPPOSED TO GO."

"This is how I always pictured it in my head." Ace snarled. "Did you really think you could kill me."

Edgar struggled as Vampires swarmed around us, bringing us up to our feet and pushing in the direction Ace was walking. Feds stayed behind and took Chris with her. I saw something in her eyes and I couldn't pin point just what it was but from the look on Chris's face I think he could see it too.
